810MW, Joined as Junior Manager & present as Assistant Manager (Electrical
Commissioning & Maintenance) from 15’th November 2010, till present.
Current Responsibility: Co-ordination, Execution of maintenance, Breakdown &
commissioning activities, related to main plant STG (6x135MW) & BOP (Water Treatment
Plant (RO Plant 3x400 M’3/hr),Cooling Tower, LDO, Raw Water System, Fire Fighting
system, Waste water treatment plant.
As an Assistant Manager and In charge of a sectionalized portion of the plant, I am directly
responsible for the outcome of the following activities.
Providing uninterrupted, reliable power supply, equipment availability for smooth operation of
the entire Balance of Plant System (BOP) through proper short circuit calculation of the system
by distribution network Relay Grading.

2. • Maintenance of 6.6 KV HT Switchgear, 415 V LT Switchgear, HT/ LT motors.
• Overhauling of HT/ LT motors.
• Proper, safe and target oriented Testing & commissioning of 6.6 KV HT Switchgear, 415 V
LT Switchgear, HT/ LT motors.
• Testing, commissioning & maintenance of High Voltage Oil Cooled and Dry Type
Transformers.
• Commissioning & maintenance of 220 V and 24 V battery charger systems.
• Effective Shift management as the Electrical shift in charge of Main Plant.
• Planning and Execution of necessary steps for achieving optimum safety.
• Planning and execution of Preventive, Predictive and Breakdown Maintenance Schedules.
• Preparation of purchase requisitions, service PR’s, Maintenance orders through SAP for
effective spare management, Maintenance related activity through SAP.

• Accomplishment of resources planning, budgeting, scheduling & execution of
preventive / predictive maintenance / service activities for existing units.

• I also involved in Documentation, Planning, technical evaluation of Electrical designs
/ Electrical Equipment received from various external vendors, Procurement work in
same organization Visa Steel Limited Jajpur Odisha for Future Expansion Project of
Thermal Power Plant (2X250) 500MW
From the beginning as Graduate Engineer Trainee to Senior Engineer at Visa Steel Limited, I
was involved in Project related activities for the first two years in 3X25 MW after that remaining
period I did documentation, Planning work of 2X250MW & Operation and Maintenance for the
3x25MW Captive power plant & BOP. I was directly involved in the outcome of the following
activities during my stay in the organization. Testing, Commissioning of 3 sets of Turbo
Generator, each with a capacity of 25 MW. This package includes the following activities.
 Errection, Testing, Commissioning of BHEL make Automatic Voltage Regulator
 Testing and Commissioning of Easun Reyrrole make GRP,GCP.
