Job Description:
JSW Steel LTD is an only ISO 9000:14001 integrated steel plant capacity of 1.2MTPA in South India
which enables to produce various types of steel (Billet, Bloom caster, leaf springs flat bar, TMT bar) as per
the customer requirements with quality.
I am working in a mechanical maintenance department in Blast Furnace (BLT) which can produce
3000MTPD and PCI can produce 600MTPD
Reporting to: General Manger
RESPONSIBILITY
(As Management)
 Preventive & Predictive maintenance of various equipment’s on scheduled time.
 Planning - Spares Planning, Store Inventory Control, Budget Planning & cost control.
 Execution - Installation of equipment for Fans, Main and Auxiliary Gear drive, Hydraulic and
Pneumatic Cylinders, Filter-Regulator-Lubricator Unit, Hydraulic Power Pack and overhead cranes.
 Design & development – Following drawing works (AutoCAD 2013) for material to be purchased
as per required measurements.
 Procurement - Material indenting and purchasing within the time frame as scheduled.
 Documents -ISO/T.S documents, delay analyzing, MTBF, MTTR and maintenance cost analysis
work and EMS / OHSAS
 Hands on experience in SAP
 Knowledge in TQM – 5S, Kaizen, QC, Innovation, Poka-Yoke, Six Sigma

2.  Training - Educating subordinates about equipments & process to avoid breakdown maintenance.
 Dupont safety management – SOP, JSA, PTW, LOTO
 Hands on experience in Microsoft Project management and Microsoft office tools for project
management and document preparation.

1. Blooming Mill (Phase-II):
 Technical support drawings verification and approval.
 Erection of equipments of finishing section in blooming mill.
 Equipments comprising of Motor, Gearbox, Clutch units, Follower and Rolling bed.
 Erection of hydraulic power packs equipped for finishing section.
 Duration – 3months
 Cost of project – 44Crs
 Cost of finishing section with hydraulics – 10Crs
2. Blast Furnace (I & II) Cast House De dusting System:
 Technical support drawings verification and approval.
 Fabrication & Erection of rolled ducts & structural supports.
 Bag filters erection.
 Equipments erection. Equipments comprising of Motor, Fan, Actuators, Cylinders, Dampers,
Expansion bellows, Pulse valves, Compressed air lines and valves.
 Duration – 10months
 Cost of project – 20Crs

3. 3. Blast Furnace (I & II) Revamping projects:
 Technical support drawings verification and approval.
 Fabrication & Erection of rolled ducts & structural for stove.
 BLT, stave & tuyere equipment erection.
 Equipments erection. Equipments comprising of Motor, Fan, Actuators, Cylinders, Dampers,
Hydraulic system, Expansion bellows and valves.
 Duration – BF1-45 days, BF2-72days
 Cost of project – BF1-40Crs, BF2-100Crs
4. Hot metal handling EOT crane-Capacity-115T/35T, Qty-2nos:
 Technical support drawings verification and approval.
 Periodical inspection at vendor site while manufacturing.
 Dismantling of old crane and rail girders.
 Fabrication and erection of new rail girder and alignment.
 Assembling of new EOT crane and erection.
 Duration –60days
 Cost of project – 12Crs
