JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 Involved in the Erection and installation of major systems of new-build jack up oil rig such as Main
Generators and Marine Pumps, Compressor, Air dryer, Receiver tanks, Mud pumps, Agitators
,Chiller unit, Deck Cranes, Drilling Equipment, Derrick Assembly and Jacking/fixation system.
 Planning for the day to day activity of installation and pre-commissioning of marine system.
 Punch points clearance activities for equipment as per owners or class requirement.
 Co-ordinate with Hull, Piping, Electrical, HVAC and Painting department to complete the equipment
installation/Commissioning.
 Co-ordinate with sub-contractor and sub ordinates for achieving erection and installation planning.
 Co-ordinate with Logistics, crane section, planning section for equipment arrival, crane and
transport booking.
 Preparing the man power requirement, manage man power and job allocation.
 Responsible for day to day erection of the site work and to provide effective supervision.
 Reporting periodically on the progress of work & on the issues needing decision from client/project
team to the project manager.

2.  Responsible for maintenance in charge of Main compressors, oil purifiers, sewage treatment plant ,
pumps, Generator engines, air conditioning and refrigeration plant.
 Inspection, Verification and certification of modification jobs executed by contractors and
certification of invoices.( Pipeline/fabrication , industrial-painting, insulation work, manpower
supply etc).
 Record keeping e.g. Equipment data sheet, Equipment manual detail, maintenance planning
schedule, lubrication schedule, painting schedule, safety valve - vessel calibration, lifting tools &
tackles calibration etc.
 Perform and planning Predictive / Preventive / Breakdown maintenance activities for Rotating
Equipment & follow-up progress of maintenance activities and co-ordinate with other divisions
accordingly. Supervises rotating equipment maintenance activities in shop and field.
 Aware with permit procedure (Hot work & Cold work) lock out, vessel entry, excavation permit etc.
 Maintaining a record of my activities and the spare parts used and required in the engine room .
 Wrote technical reports about the jobs carried out in the company.
 Worked and assisted shop floor personnel in various operations such as lathe machine , drilling,
