1. DD/MS/PhD Stipend for Full Time Students
Details of Stipend Support:
 DD Students (RA ship)
o Rs 10000/- per month will be paid for the Dual degree students from 5th
year
onwards
 MS Students (RA ship)
o Rs.8000/- per month from institute for the First semester, First year (regular
admission)
o Rs.9000/- per month from the center for second semester, first year
o Rs.10,000/- per month from the center from second year onwards
 PhD students
o Base Component (BC)
 Rs.9000/- per month till Comprehensive viva (Rs 15000 in the first
semester from the Institute and from the center thereon)
 Rs.12000/- per month from the center after Comprehensive viva
o Performance Component (PC)
 Pre Comprehensive:

 Performance component will be based on the CGPA. Details are
given in the above table.
 Performance component will be supported from the second
semester onwards.
 Performance component will be supported only if the Base
Component is provided from the center.

 For External fellowship students, tuition fee will be deducted from
fellowship and then performance component will be calculated. A

2. standing instruction should be submitted by the student to the PG
Cell regarding deduction of tuition fee every semester.
 Each Post Comprehensive student will submit a report of their
research work done for the last semester. If the report is submitted
for the first time, indicate all the achievements so far. From
second time on, highlight all the achievements in the last one
semester
 Performance component will be based on the internal committee’s
evaluation as Grades on the submitted report. Details are given in
the table below :

 Note: Students with D grade in three semesters or three consecutive semesters will not get
stipend in further semesters.
 Performance component will be supported from the Institute
