EDGE: Enhancing Digital Government & Economy Project
A project of the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) under the ICT Division
Total project cost: US$ 305.00 million
CSE CU is signed for Student Training Program
Signed 28 institutes from 24 public universities
Contract Length: 18 months (extendable upon satisfactory completion of assigned program and project need)
1000+ students can be trained up
Number students per batch: 20-30
At least 30% female participation in a batch is mandatory

Currently offered two types of courses:
Foundational Skills Program
Minimum of 60 hours (each session consists of 3 hours)
Maximum time duration is 2 months
Maximum costs per trainee 19,357
Eligibility criteria for trainees: 1) below 35 years and completed their higher secondary
Intermediate Level Digital Skills Development Program
Minimum of 80 hours (each session consists of 3 hours)
Maximum time duration is 2.5 months
Maximum costs per trainee 29,679
Eligibility criteria for trainees: under 35 years and enrolled in or have completed tertiary education
