Blab doesn’t really have rules, but the BLAB team has
created some ‘agreements’ or guidelines they would
like the community to go by, so please pay attention:
1. Respect each other
2. Honor the viewer’s time
3. Let others talk
4. Don’t be an awful person to be around
5. Argue the point, not the person
6. The host sets the rules to the party,

This is the screen you will see when you click “Start A New Blab”

Notice the line.. that’s where you type the subject of your blab.
The numbers on the right representent the characters in your title.

Once you fill in the title, the Tags become available to you
Pick up to 3 tags and the ‘when do you
want to go live’ becomes available.

You can add a custom image to your Blab here!

Now pick a time and a date to schedule your blab.

If you select “Now” the blab starts. If you choose a date in the future, this screen appears

Once you “Start” a blab, you must “Join” and you will see this screen.

Now you’re in the blab, and you can lock the other seat if you want.
This is what a locked seat looks like.

When people ask to join, this is the screen you will see. You can click
the green arrow to accept them, or the red x to disallow them.

This is what it looks like when
someone joins. See the Blue H to
the left of the host’s profile? The
guest has a “G” in their profile.
To make them a host, click on
their name in their profile.

To make someone a co host,
click on their name in their
profile.

Now you’ll see an image like this. See the H on the top left
with the plus sign. That’s how you make them a co-host.

Roll over the H and you will see the co host dialogue box.

Now that they are a Co-
Host, they will have an H
beside their profile
picture.

Now let’s look at some comments in the stream.
Roll over one of the comments and you’ll see the
star and the arrow. That’s how you acknowledge
them, or reply to them. clicking on the X in the red
triangle will remove their comment.

When someone types a
question in the comment
stream on the right, and
uses the /Q feature, it
automatically gets added
to the questions column
on the left. It can also
get ‘upvoted’ through the
‘likes/stars/props’
feature..

Selecting an answer in
the questions column will
highlight it into one of the
boxes in the main Blab
screen!

If you click on their picture, it will bring up this screen. You can ‘report
and block’ them from THIS Blab stream. This is not a global block.

Just click the “Start Recording” button and the blab will be recorded.
While recording the button will say “Pause Recording”’
You can stop and start the recording during your blab.

You can also see someone’s profile by rolling over their image in the top.

After the blab is
over, and if it was
recorded, there is
a link to upload it
to YouTube.

Managing multiple
YouTube Channels is
supported by Blab. All
you have to do is select
the YouTube Channel
you want to upload it to
from this screen.

After the Blab is over you’ll get an email with links to
download your Audio/Podcast and Video
