2. Introduction
① "RADIO FREQUENCY MODULE"
② Wireless Communication
③ For transmission and reception of
radio signals
④ Various types and ranges
⑤ Some can transmit up to 500 feets
3. Wireless Communication
Wireless Communication is type of
communication in which no wire or
cable is used between transmitter and
receiver.
In other words the communication
which is can be done directly from
transmitter to receiver.
4. Basic parts of RF Modules
1. Printed circuit board
2. Transmit circuit or modulator
3. Transmitter antenna
4. Receiving antenna
5. Receiver circuit or demodulator
6. Output device
8. Transmitter Module
•An RF transmitter module is a small PCB
sub-assembly capable of transmitting a
radio wave and modulating that wave to
carry data.
•The transmitter is chosen in such a way
that its output power should be
according to our requirements.
10. Receiver Module
An RF receiver Module is used to
receive the transmitted RF signal
and demodulate it.
There are two types of receiver
Module:-
1. Tuned RF receiver
2. Super hetro-dyne receiver.
12. Transceiver Module
Transceiver = transmitter + receiver
So basically this type of module consists of
both transmitter and receiver.
It means it can be used for the transmission
and reception as well.
But It can't send and receive the signals
simentaneously or it is called as half duplex.
13. Applications of RF Modules
①Remote control
②Telemetry
③Small range wireless network
④Wireless home security systems
⑤Robot remote control
⑥Wireless data transmission
