3. WHAT IS THE INITIAL
EDUCATION ?
Early childhood education is conceived as a
continuous process and permanent interactions and
social relations of quality
Boys and girls develop their skills for the life
characterized by:
be inclusive, equitable and solidarity, even
account the ethnic, cultural and social diversity,
geographical and socio-economic
characteristics.
4. Begins from 3 to 5 years, and now this is obligatory in the
ecuadorian education.
For that reason the first years of life in the
human being are fundamental for the future
development of the required skills.
This stage must be stimulated in all directions, creating or generating
learning that in the afterlife will be basic to learning.
5. PROBLEMS
One of the problems is that in many cases the children
enters to the nursery school, a not suitable age .
limiting their emotional development
There aren`t the suitable spaces to
receive an initial education.

6. WE MUST TAKE IN MIND

7. FOR THAT REASON…
• Play and exploration id the basis for the initial
education curriculum .
•Methodologies, teaching strategies and
management class are important
•socio-emotional relationships as the basis of the
quality of initial education
8. We don`t have teachers with the suitable
formation.
Even in the requirements for the registration and
enrolment of students from education preliminary
process
The infraestructure is important to develope
the skills and so the children can learn
9. The children learn with plays and without pressures.
Most of the teachers in the inticial
education dont use ludic techniques
10. HOWEVER
The Ministry of education, through the initial quality education project,
works for the integral development of children under 5 years old,
attends their learning, supports your health and
nutrition, and promotes inclusion, multiculturalism,
respect and care for nature.
AND ACCORDING
INTERCULTURAL EDUCATION
11. Intercultural Education Act, article 27, defines that level of
initial education is divided into two (2) sub-levels
a).Inicial 1, who is not
enrolled and includes
infants since three (3)
years of age;
b.Inicial 2, which
includes Marines from
three (3) to five (5)
years of age.
13. • General basic education in the Ecuador comprises ten levels
of study, from first to tenth grade
People who complete this level, will be able
to continue their studies in high school and
participate in the political and social life,
This level of education allows students to develop abilities
to communicate, interpret and solve problems, and to
understand the natural and social life
14. PROBLEMS
•The teachers don´t know the performances
of the students.
•The teachers don´t teach the basic knowledge like a math, physics,
chemistry, anatomy, biology, trigonometry, economy, statistic
•The infraestructure in the schools according with
the budget of the government
15. Metodology
according to the

16. BECAUSE THEY MUST BE
ABLE TO…
Value and protect human health in the physical psychological and sexual
aspects .
Show a thought, logical, critical and creative in the analysis and resolution of
problems daily
Profit reading in a critical and creative way.
Participate in the intercultural society.
17. HOWEVER
The government tries to solve the problems improving the pedagogy
The ministry has as main objective improve the quality of the Ecuadorian
education from an equitable and inclusive vision at all levels and modalities
To achieve this, policies that will improve the teaching activities
at all levels and modalities
19. This UEM are in differents parts of Ecuador, and they are public
educational institutions.
With experimental basis of high level, based on innovative technical,
pedagogical and administrative concepts, as reference for new public
education in the country.
OBJECTIVES OF THE UEM
•Give education of quality .
•Improve the conditions of schooling, access to education, and
its coverage in areas of influence.
•Develop an educational model that responds to national and
local need
20. CONCLUSIONS
The poor quality in the teaching of natural and social
sciences because some methods are very traditional,
because there are lack of professional ethics of some
teachers and of this way we cannot have a good
education.
