5. Summary of the novel
1.Story revolves around Nikhil and his wife Bimla who is
spritually devoted to her husband Nikhil.
2.All citizens take part in swadeshi movement and gave
speeches on boycott British goods.
3.Nikhil forces bimla to try to interact outer world.
4.Nikhil told chandranathan to arrange an english teacher
for his wife.and miss gilby hires to teach bimla.

6.  4.bimla getting bored of that english class .and as
Nikhil pushes her in outdoor activities .she accept
to merge in swadeshi movement
 5. After participate in swadeshi movement .she
met a person name Sandeep who is leader of
crowd.
 6.Sandeep gives motivational speeches on
nationality and bimla attend all rellies and
speeches with sandeep
 7.His speeches got a dynamic effect on bimla and
she started attracted towards him.

7.  8.slowly slowly they both get attracted by each other.
try to impress her by giving her the QUEEN BEE title.
 9.Even bimla has thought of divorse with nikhil.there is a boy
sharp mind named amulya bimla adopted him as son.
 10.All these things changes bimla behavior and she become
more confident.nikhil is very happy for bimla that she is
improving now
 11..One day bimla invited sandeep to their house for dinner
he met Nikhil. Sandeep decides to use her house as
headquater.nikhil agrees.

8.  12.sandeep ask nikhil to stay here for some days and he agree but
days streaches to months. All the people started gossips about
their relationship, including bara rani.
 13. Nikhil is also aware about bimla behavior but he told her that
she can do anything she wants.
 14.Now sandeep wants money for promote himself.so he manuplate
amulya.he take responsibility of arrange money. Due to which he
looted bank and murdered manager and killed by mobs on the
way.

9. 15.now sandeep ask for money to bimla .she stole some money and
jewelry to the safe.and gave it to sandeep, after this he ran away.
16.After this she feels guilty that she betray her husband for another
man.she decide to regret.then she heard a noise from outside and nikhil
was in rush.
17.Actually mobs are torture women in neighborhood and they need help
so nikhil goes to help them.
18.She decide tosay sorry when he came back but he come home on
strecher in very critical situation.bimla only remain cry in end.
19.We have no idea if nikhil live or not.
