This document contains summaries of 4 experiences: 1) The author's graduation from Shenyang Aerospace University in China and subsequent move to Canada in 2012. 2) Witnessing a marriage proposal on New Year's Eve 2013 while watching the countdown in the cold. 3) Spending their first Christmas in Canada at their cousin's house and seeing their new puppy. 4) Doing volunteer work and meeting the Minister of Environment while not understanding Canadian politics.

1. My Graduation certificate
This is my Graduation certificate of
Shenyang Aerospace University.
My major was Computer Science.
I was graduated in July 10th, 2010.
After that, I worked for a short time.
Then I studied English and came to
Canada in April 28th, 2012.

2. The New Year’s Eve
I went to see the New year count
down on December 31th , 2013.
It was very cold that night.
My friends and I stood on the ground
for four hours until the final moment.
But we were very happy because
people were very passionate there.
We also saw a man proposed to his
girlfriend. His friends hold some
boards wrote “Will you marry me”.
We were excited to see that scenario
and we all thought it was very
creative.

3. First Christmas Day
in Canada
I was invited to my cousin’s house for
Christmas Day.
That cute little dog is called Kudo.
She was 4 month old at the time.
I go to see her every month. She is
very smart and very friendly to me.
My cousin took this photo and sent it
to my mother.
After seeing the photo, my mother
called me and said she missed me very
much. I miss my mother too. I wish her
and my father all the best in China.

4. Volunteer in CFCO
I did volunteer work in this
organization.
I was excited to see Minister of
Environment Peter Kent.
He was advertising for CFCO.
I actually don’t know what do they do
or what’s the difference between
them and their opponent – Liberal
Party.
But this kind of activity is hard to see
in China.
It is really interesting for me.

5. First time in Church
It is interesting to experience different
culture.
My classmate took me to a church and
pray.
It is good to have a belief. It brings
people strength and makes people
doing good.
