Having a total of 6 years experience in the construction field in which gulf experience is
about 4.9 years; I would like to apply for the position of Electrical Engineer in MEP
construction field.
As I have worked in Commercial/Industrial projects such as airport and car manufacturing
plant myself having good exposure in activities at MV and LV rooms such as substation,

Project Structure
It’s a hotel project consisting of two basement levels, one ground, a mezzanine, two podium
levels and 24 upper floors, roof-1 with swimming pool, gym & roof-2 with juice bar. It will
be the first Mondrian-branded hotel in the Middle East and once completed, the tower will
become known as the Mondrian Doha Hotel, and will offer 270 rooms.
Role as an Electrical Engineer
On the mentioned above hotel project, my work was to monitor and execute all LV/ELV

Project Structure
Concourse 3 is an extension and continued development of Concourse 1 and 2. It is a fully
airside structure and is connected to 2 major public levels of Terminal 3 via an Automated
People Mover (APM) in addition to Vehicular and Baggage Handling System utility
tunnels. Concourse 3 is partially an underground structure comprising the APM stations (both
arriving and departing) and extends above ground under a metal shell to accommodate 18
Nos. A380 & 2 Nos. other aircrafts. The built-up area is approximately 528,000 Square
meters and comprises EK lounges, 4 and 5 Star Hotels, Arrival and Departure levels
including the Duty Free Shops. The MEP services include provision of 30,000 TR Air
conditioning with associated works, Electrical works covering 50MVA electrical load and

As an Electrical Engineer of the project I was responsible for the below works as project
progressed at different stages and worked at site for a period of 1.7 years.
1. Arranging materials as per priority.
2. Study of drawings and technical details.

The Dubai Tram (previously the Al Sufouh Tram) system was designed to be an integral part
of the Dubai transport network, linking the Dubai Metro and the Palm Monorail and running
along Al Sufouh Road and Jumeirah Beach Road from Mall of the Emirates at one end to the
Dubai Marina. Its first phase consists of 11 stations.
I was taking care/monitoring the first fix activities viz. Containment installations of cable
trays, ladders and GI pipes.

IV. MFAR Hotel & Resorts Pvt. Ltd – Velachery, Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly –
Chennai-Omandurar, Prime Electricals – Nellore – Andhra Pradesh.
I was mainly handling above mentioned 3 projects as a Project Coordinator-Planning
department. My work was to monitor the site works through site engineers comparing BOQ.
All material requests would be matched with BOQ for addition & variation. Apart from that
arranging meeting for updating the site progress with site team, consultant, main contractor,
sub contractors and suppliers was to be done.
Role as a planner
1. Study of Tax structure tender department considered on OH, Margin, and material cost, etc
for making rate analysis in case of rework, extra items, non tendered items, etc through
proper break up.
2. Getting clarification on any deviations in BOQ/SLD/Technical Details from
client/consultant.
3. Release of LOI for major items after getting work order.
4. Collecting GTP (Guaranteed Technical Particulars)/Technical details, test certificates from
supplier.
5. Arranging samples for approval for specified items through purchase department.
6. Follow up with purchase dept till the release of PO, necessary documents such as waybills,
SEZ documents, TIN/CST No.

After graduation on Bachelor’s of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics during the year 1st
November 2009 I worked under M/S. Batliboi enXco Pvt.Ltd, for M/S. Ramco wind farms at
Poolavadi-Udumalaipettai - Tamil Nadu. As a fresher to the field of technical jobs my work
was to note KWHr generation of power generated by NEPC make wind turbines connected to
each transformer (generally 7 to 8 towers ranging from 36 to 55KW capacity were connected
to one transformer, a wind speed of minimum 7.2m/s was required for the operation of
turbines while it consumes utility power initially and cut-off to feed the utility once it’s
started operating) wind speed, terminal fuse, PCB and components, Capacitor banks, etc,.
Further, I worked as a Service Engineer with M/S. KB Power Care Pvt. Ltd, Chennai –
Tamil Nadu for the servicing and maintenance of Industrial servo stabilizers. Electronic
Servo Controlled Stabilizers were used to provide a steady output voltage ranging from 380V
to 415V for the input voltage ranging from 300V to 470V. Carbon brushes were to be
periodically replaced in oil cooled types since it’s prone to deterioration. PCB and
components were also to be changed in many cases.
