 Brief History of Company
The Olayan Group has been involved in food services in Saudi Arabia and the Arab Middle East since the early
1990's, when Olayan Financing Company acquired the Burger King franchise for Saudi Arabia and became the
master franchisee for the wider region.
Olayan opened its first Burger King restaurant in Riyadh in December 1992. Today, there are more than 200 Burger
King outlets in the region. Olayan Food Services Co. (OFS) operates the Saudi franchise. First Food Services,
another Olayan company, operates in the UAE, Egypt and Oman.
In 2008, The Olayan Group added the Texas Chicken brand to its convenience food options. First Food Services
opened the first Texas Chicken restaurant in the Gulf in Abu Dhabi in March 2008.

United Food Services (UFS), a sister company of United Trading Corporation (UTC) established in 1972
with distribution network of international brand throughout the Kingdom. UFS is considered one of the
allies to UTC after McDonald decided to appoint them as their Distribution Center for the whole
Kingdom to serve McDonald fast food chains/restaurants.

 Coordinated Inventory with Warehouse and Customer Service department.
 Tracking documentation on each shipment, clearance at port, & lab until the goods received in
warehouse.
 Enquiries and negotiations with the local & international suppliers.
 Rating suppliers on their performance of delivery & services offered by them
