3. INTRODUCTION
➔ This project present, design liquid filling machine system for bottles.
➔ The liquid filling machine system consist of conveyor section, filling section with
sensors and control section using microcontroller.
➔ Microcontroller ( AT89S52 ) plays a very important role in this system.
➔ The filling operation is based on the user-defined volume through which user can
choose the volume of liquid to be filled.

6. 1.CONVEYOR SYSTEM
➢ A conveyor system is a common piece of mechanical handling equipment that moves
materials from one location to another.

8. 2. IR LDR SENSOR
➢ IR sensor is used in Remote control system, motion detector, Product counter etc.
➢ IR sensor basically consist an IR LED and a Photodiode, this pair is generally called
IR pair or Photo coupler.
➢ IR sensor work on the principal in which IR LED emits IR radiation and Photodiode
sense that IR radiation.

9. 3. AT89S52 MICROCONTROLLER
➢ The AT89S52 comes from the popular 8051 family of Atmel Microcontrollers.
➢ It is an 8-bit CMOS microcontroller with 8K as Flash memory and 256 bytes of
RAM.
➢ It has 32 I/O pins comprising of three 16-bit timers, external interrupts, full-duplex
serial port and clock circuitry.
➢ Programming Hardware: USB In-circuit programmer (USBASP)

11. 4. DC MOTOR PUMP
➢ DC powered pumps use direct current from motor, battery, or solar power to
move fluid .
➢ Motorized pumps typically operate on 6, 12, 24, or 32 volts of DC power.

12. 5. DC GEAR MOTOR
➢ A gear motor is an all-in-one combination of a motor and gearbox.
➢ A Direct Current (DC) motor is a rotating electrical device that converts direct
current, of electrical energy, into mechanical energy.
➢ The addition of a gear head to a motor reduces the speed while increasing the
torque output.

13. 6. RELAY
➢ The Single Pole Double Throw SPDT relay is quite useful in certain applications
➢ It has one common terminal and two contacts in two different configurations: one
can be Normally Closed and the other one is Normally Open.

15. WORKING
➢ The project consists of a motor connected with a pipe to fill the bottle.
➢ A DC gear motor are used to run the conveyor.
➢ IR sensors are used to count and then stop them for filling.
➢ A DC water pump are used to fill the bottle.
➢ The bottle is filled using that pipe and then it is taken forward on to a conveyer.
15
17. ADVANTAGES
➢ Reduce the human efforts and physical work.
➢ Replacing human work by technologies.
➢ Economy improvement.
➢ Perform the tasks which are beyond the human capabilities of size, weight, speed.
17
19. CONCLUSION
➢ The system can perform the task of autonomous quality control system used in
industrial production.
➢ Automation systems are used to increase productivity.
➢ The performance, flexibility and reliability is based on the investment.
➢ The entire system is more reliable, time saving and user friendly.
