ABSTRACT
In today’s life automation is a booming area in mechanical engineering field. In this
thesis one can make the automatic bottle filler machine as a part of automation
process. The goal of this system is to fill liquid in bottles as well as canes. In this
thesis one can use cam and follower method for bottle filling and also with the help
of stepper gear, it provides the gap between two bottles. With the help of AC/DC
motor ,water tank ,spur gear ,rubber belt ,nozzle one can make the machine .this
mechanism is used in many small scale industries ,also used in theaters ,clubs
,stadium and many other places .by this way one can provide the idea of automation
process with help of miniature replica of automatic bottle filler machine.
Introduction:
A batch operation where a set amount of inputs to be process is received as a group
and an operation produce the finish product. This project is the Combination of
steppergear which is used for gap between two bottles, cam and follower, conveyor
belt, water tank, pressure pump. This project is divided into 4 Sections,
 The loading section,
 stepper section
 filling section
 The conveyorsection (transfer section), this project is to design and develop
the – “Automatic bottle filling Machine”.
First of us we discus about the automation, what is automation?
Automation is the use of various control system for operating equipment such as
machinery, process in factories and other application with minimum or reduced
human intervention.
The purpose of this project is to apply filling system where this system can
Automatically filling water into their bottle randomly by using various mechanisms
the filling system will be using the filling conceptTime Gravity Filler with the help
of pressure pump Selection Guide.
The mechanical part of the project consists of,
Mechanical drawing, design, measuring, welding and fabricating process,

When we are making our projectwe had some good memaries like like performing
togather we could enhance on our ability on knolage on different topics and
specifically on our project wehad chang to know that how this things works in real
life.
 HAPPY-
The most happiest thing thimgs happen during our project making is that we had
our continuous support from guides. It was goot that we made this project whitin
the time limit.
 SAD-
While making our projectwe have some bad memorice that allinment of our gear
werenot in a line it to moretime need to makeit croocketwehave sometechnical
issue in this project but it were solved.
 SAD-
We also have someissuewith power supply as well as timing of filling the bottle to
more time. We had to work more on water supply to pass through submersible
pump.

 Designing: it is related to design of the auto bottle filler machine assembly
and is essential parts. The design of any productshould satisfy the
customer need as well as its required specification. Any product should
design in such a way that is can performits function efficiently.
 Quality testing: purchased raw materials are tested under some conditions
required in the final productso that the quality of the raw material is tested
before it dispatched for making the final product.
 Assembly: after jobs are prepared by the assembling the other necessary
parts the final products areready to use.
 Futureplanning: future planning is related to innovation and introducing
new technologies in to their products.
 Material handling: Purchased raw material is stored in its suitable location
whereit can be prevented the factors which are affecting its properties.
This process is called material handling.
 Alignment: alignment is necessary to make productwork batter. And good
performance.
Possiblesolution:-
 to make proper alignment
 increase the bottle filling time
 solvegear mashing problem
 re-design the belt
to make proper alignment
by re ddesign or by setting of parts element we can make proprer alingmenrt in
machin. Like re design a cam we can make batter alignment between the tap and
cam.
Use the sutable tap for cam that maintain proper link between tape and cam.
Make proper designed roller that can work proper with rubber belt.
 increase the bottle filling time
This is realy neccesery to incrise bottle filling timeing for a mass production. So in
this machine we really need to incrise bottle filling timing.
By incirise the submarcibal pump capecity
 solvegear mashing problem
to solvethe gear meching problem , its required to re design the gear by propere
metord and calculation by equation.

Purpose:
What is the purposeof the productwhich we will be going to develop?
1. Accuracy: the productshould accurate enough to fit in to it’s correspond
work place to perform. In now a days many automatic machines are located
in to the industries to minimize the errors and improve the accuracy.
2. New technologies: By introducing the new technologies in the product
demand increases which tend to increaseits productivity.
3. Reduce inspection: It indicated to the accuracy. Moreaccuracy less
inspection time is required.
4. Less rework: the developed productshould be of long working life. The
material of the productshould be having enough load carrying capacity so
that during its maintenance less rework is required.
5. Minimum human effort: the productshould be easy to use and less human
effort is required.
People:
Itis related to how many people are required to develop the product? The people
are fromdifferent field, having someexperience related to their work, with some
innovative ideas. Itincludes:
 Operator
 supervisor
 Engineer
 Labour
Product experience:
Itrefers to the customer point of view as well as the aspects during the product
development. Before starting the development one should consider that how
long enough time the productshould survive? If it can be evaluated then the
second thing which is necessary is that the producer should capable to satisfy the
market demand as well as the production cost. We also haveto consider the
maintenance cost for the productafter being supply of developed. For that we
should consider following aspects
 Required in any filling m/c
 Easy to handle
 More care during production
 Repairing is affordable.

  • 3. ABSTRACT In today’s life automation is a booming area in mechanical engineering field. In this thesis one can make the automatic bottle filler machine as a part of automation process. The goal of this system is to fill liquid in bottles as well as canes. In this thesis one can use cam and follower method for bottle filling and also with the help of stepper gear, it provides the gap between two bottles. With the help of AC/DC motor ,water tank ,spur gear ,rubber belt ,nozzle one can make the machine .this mechanism is used in many small scale industries ,also used in theaters ,clubs ,stadium and many other places .by this way one can provide the idea of automation process with help of miniature replica of automatic bottle filler machine.
  • 4. Introduction: A batch operation where a set amount of inputs to be process is received as a group and an operation produce the finish product. This project is the Combination of steppergear which is used for gap between two bottles, cam and follower, conveyor belt, water tank, pressure pump. This project is divided into 4 Sections,  The loading section,  stepper section  filling section  The conveyorsection (transfer section), this project is to design and develop the – “Automatic bottle filling Machine”. First of us we discus about the automation, what is automation? Automation is the use of various control system for operating equipment such as machinery, process in factories and other application with minimum or reduced human intervention. The purpose of this project is to apply filling system where this system can Automatically filling water into their bottle randomly by using various mechanisms the filling system will be using the filling conceptTime Gravity Filler with the help of pressure pump Selection Guide. The mechanical part of the project consists of, Mechanical drawing, design, measuring, welding and fabricating process,

ACTIVITIES:  Conveyer belt  Cam rotating  Bottle filling  Gear meshing  Tap  Bottal storage STORY BOARDING  HAPPY – When we are making our projectwe had some good memaries like like performing togather we could enhance on our ability on knolage on different topics and specifically on our project wehad chang to know that how this things works in real life.  HAPPY- The most happiest thing thimgs happen during our project making is that we had our continuous support from guides. It was goot that we made this project whitin the time limit.  SAD- While making our projectwe have some bad memorice that allinment of our gear werenot in a line it to moretime need to makeit croocketwehave sometechnical issue in this project but it were solved.
  • 8.  SAD- We also have someissuewith power supply as well as timing of filling the bottle to more time. We had to work more on water supply to pass through submersible pump.   • 9.  Designing: it is related to design of the auto bottle filler machine assembly and is essential parts. The design of any productshould satisfy the customer need as well as its required specification. Any product should design in such a way that is can performits function efficiently.  Quality testing: purchased raw materials are tested under some conditions required in the final productso that the quality of the raw material is tested before it dispatched for making the final product.  Assembly: after jobs are prepared by the assembling the other necessary parts the final products areready to use.  Futureplanning: future planning is related to innovation and introducing new technologies in to their products.  Material handling: Purchased raw material is stored in its suitable location whereit can be prevented the factors which are affecting its properties. This process is called material handling.  Alignment: alignment is necessary to make productwork batter. And good performance.

Possiblesolution:-  to make proper alignment  increase the bottle filling time  solvegear mashing problem  re-design the belt to make proper alignment by re ddesign or by setting of parts element we can make proprer alingmenrt in machin. Like re design a cam we can make batter alignment between the tap and cam. Use the sutable tap for cam that maintain proper link between tape and cam. Make proper designed roller that can work proper with rubber belt.
  • 11.  increase the bottle filling time This is realy neccesery to incrise bottle filling timeing for a mass production. So in this machine we really need to incrise bottle filling timing. By incirise the submarcibal pump capecity
  • 12.  solvegear mashing problem to solvethe gear meching problem , its required to re design the gear by propere metord and calculation by equation. Here the euq for the gear design

Purpose: What is the purposeof the productwhich we will be going to develop? 1. Accuracy: the productshould accurate enough to fit in to it’s correspond work place to perform. In now a days many automatic machines are located in to the industries to minimize the errors and improve the accuracy. 2. New technologies: By introducing the new technologies in the product demand increases which tend to increaseits productivity. 3. Reduce inspection: It indicated to the accuracy. Moreaccuracy less inspection time is required. 4. Less rework: the developed productshould be of long working life. The material of the productshould be having enough load carrying capacity so that during its maintenance less rework is required. 5. Minimum human effort: the productshould be easy to use and less human effort is required.
  • 14. People: Itis related to how many people are required to develop the product? The people are fromdifferent field, having someexperience related to their work, with some innovative ideas. Itincludes:  Operator  supervisor  Engineer  Labour Product experience: Itrefers to the customer point of view as well as the aspects during the product development. Before starting the development one should consider that how long enough time the productshould survive? If it can be evaluated then the second thing which is necessary is that the producer should capable to satisfy the market demand as well as the production cost. We also haveto consider the maintenance cost for the productafter being supply of developed.
