Partsof sentences
A sentence is divided into mainly 3 parts:
Subject
Verb
Object
Subject
- The subject is the person or thing about which something is being stated.
Example:
ROHAN is a doctor.
SNEHA wears uniform.
HE is dancing well.
THE JUG is made of Glass.
VeRb
- The action or the work stated in a sentences is known as verb
Example:
Shona eats sweets.
Rahul drinks milk.
Riya dances well.
We all play football.

-Object can be state as the second important part of sentence on which work is
done, for whom the work is done.
Example:
Rohan is a boy.
Sheena cleans the floor.
Tajmahal was built by Shahjahan.
The Table is made of wood.

DECLARATIVE SENTENCES
IMPERATIVE SENTENCES
INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES
EXCLAMATORY SENTENCES
DECLARATIVESENTENCES
These are the sentences which declare some thing or provides information about something.
Example:
1. Earth revolves around the sun.
2. Ram is a prince.
3. Sunday is a holiday.
4. India is a democratic country.
5. We write with pen or pencil.
Imperativesentences
These are the sentences which expresses order , instruction and request.
Example:
1. Get out of the room.
2. Stand up.
3. Turn on the stove.
4. Go left and then turn to the first right.
5. Please can you help me.
Interrogativesentences
These are the sentences in which we ask question.
They normally ends with a question mark(?).
Example:
1.What is your name?
2. How are you?
3. Are you happy?
4. Is this your book?
5. Where do you live?

These are the sentences which shows our emotions and feelings.
They usually ends with an exclamation mark.
Example:
1. Oh! You got hurt.
2. Hurray! We are going for party.

5. Oh no! We lost the game.
