2. Here is a screenshot of me
and my partner editing the
audio level of the music we
used in the scene. It was
originally too loud and
drowned out the dialogue, so
changing the gain made it
much better and more fitting.
It was no longer over
powering, and you could
easily hear the dialogue as
well as having the
atmospheric feeling with the
music in the background.
3. In this screenshot, you can see
where we have edited the clip
and cut some of the clips so they
fit well, and the after effects of
when we edited it so that the
colouring would look more like
the one in the original clip,
which was darker and dull.
4. Here is where we changed the
hue, saturation and brightness
of the clip so that it would
match that of the original clip.
By toning down the saturation
to about 50% on each clip, we
achieved this effect as it made
it more convincing as well as
looking more like a horror clip,
as before it was too bright and
sunny, which took away from
the atmosphere.
5. Here is a comparison of what the clip looked like before adding the
effects to make it look dull and more like the scene. As you can see,
there is a clear difference, and the second one looks much more eerie
and conventionally ‘horror’.
