Feed back sheet 2

  1. 1. Feed Back Sheet“This is our rough cut for the opening sequence of a thriller movie. How do you think we could improve it to make it more effective?” Some tense sound would make it a lot better, you would get a feel for the film In rough-cut 2 we have added lots of different types of sounds and music to create the correct tension. The whole thing could flow better As this was our first rough-cut it did not flow effectively in our second rough-cut we have created better transitions between different shots, such as the bath scene. Your production logo could move to work better with the Sony logo. With a sound over the top of it. Our production logo now zooms in, however we tend to better this is our final cut by maybe making the full logo move.
  2. 2. A name of the film would be helpfulWe are still as of yet to come up with a namefor our film, however we will soon have aneffective name, which will work well with ourfilm. There is some jumpy cuts from each scene itwould look a lot better if these were to besmoothWe have created smoother transactions andmerged some of the clips together to makethe flow of the sequence better. We have alsodone this with the sound in our second rough-cut.It is quite long for a opening sequenceWe have now cut the opening sequence down, however we still need to cut it down furtherto make it more realistic.
  3. 3. Some scene’s last to long (talking on thephone)We have cut many scenes down to benefit theflow of the sequence. We did however focus ofthe phone scene. We have cut between twodifferent shots to make the scene flow easierbut also cut some dialogue out. There is a slight change of lighting betweenthe scenes, which confused me a littleThis could unfortunately not be helped due tothe location we chose. However to over comethis problem we played about with thesaturation and brightness of the clips whichhas hopefully made the change of lighting alot better than in our first rough-cut.
