Individual Contribution
Filming
- When filming, I took many of the shots the scenes that I did not feature in,
and directed an amount that I did feature in
- From filming shots and directing others, I worked with a range of different
shot types and was able to vary shots we used and come up with creative
shots that differed from each other.
- I also made sure to shoot the same scenes more than once to make sure we
came out with the best shots possible.
Acting
-For our trailer, I also acted as the villain in it.
This was ideal as it meant that if a shot did not
feel or look right, I would know and be able to
direct my peers and tell them what would look
and feel better.
- It also meant that I had a range of things to do
for the project and would always be busy, be it
acting in the trailer or filming shots.
- On top of all of this, it was convenient for my
group as it meant we didn’t have to spend too
much time that we didn’t really have to look
for a willing actress to play the part, and there
was also the issue of people’s schedules not
lining up, but me being in the group already
meant this would not have happened.
Post production/Editing
-During the editing period,
while I did put together
shots and order them, I took
a lot of responsibility with
re-colouring, such as
brightness, contrast and
colour settings, and putting
special effects on shots, such
as the glitch.
- When ordering shots, I also
made sure to make shots
flowed into each other if
needed. This was especially
evident in the shot of
Yasmine walking alone,
transitioning into when I
appear and follow her.
