1. To whom it may concern:
This letter serves to recommend Shannon Stuart for future employment opportunities. I have known
Shannon for 10 years, working with her first as a key and lead administrative contact at the Indiana State
Soccer office. I continued to work with Shannon when she served as the Carmel United Soccer Club’s
business manager and executive director. Most recently I worked with her on the staff at the newly
formed Indiana Fire Juniors soccer club. Shannon served as the operations director for the club with a
strong focus on our boys’ and girls’ elite programs.
Shannon brought very strong soccer skills and administrative knowledge in all areas where I interacted
with her. Shannon was a former player and had great understanding of the game of soccer. She also had
knowledge of industry software and basic accounting and financial awareness. Shannon was able to
build out financial models and work in accounting and payroll systems, work on scheduling software,
create and alter data on a website, as well as diplomatically handle customer service issues. Shannon
also interacted with corporate sponsors and built out our interactive communication data base.
Shannon is an astute travel and event planner and is well skilled in the logistics of planning and
coordinating large movements of people locally and to out of state destinations. Shannon also helped to
manage and grow one of the most prestigious tournaments in the Midwest.
Shannon is a very dedicated and hardworking employee. She is regularly available for questions and
interactions with customers, suppliers and staff members. This industry runs 7 days a week 10 months a
year and requires a large amount of energy and dedication to be successful- Shannon possess both of
those qualities.
I wish Shannon well in her future endeavors and believe she brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to
any soccer or business organization.
