Faculty members. Timely update all HR data to Payroll system, incorporate all deductions and promotions of employees
due in current month.
Job Tasks performed for Employees’ Taxation:
Prepare Income Tax reconciliation, process tax payment of the employees and e-filling of their income tax.
Computation of tax rebate and annual distribution of employee tax certificates and computation statements.

Prepare Full and Final Settlements of the outgoing employees and change in job status and prepare schedules
for receivable and payable dues for the employee.

after the conclusion of audit.

Special Projects / Achievements:
Full & Final Settlement – Completed in 2014
The manual processes of checklist clearance and dispatch of severance documents were made online, thereby
reducing excessive use of paper and waste of time in physical travel of documents. On average, approx. 1500+
employee settlements are processed in a year and this transition resulted in enhancing the quality indicator for
settlement payments being made to the employees in 7 days, instead of 10 days.

Electronic Pay Slip (e-Pay Slip)
The project was initiated in March 2014 with feasibility, planning and analysis. The manual system of
dispatching hard copies of pay slips to 10000+individual employees was replaced by e-Pay slips. After testing,
the project went live in July 2014. This resulted in 60% annual cost savings or approx. PKR 1m, by reducing
paper and printing material and saved 1300 man hours annually, as approx. 70% of the employees benefitted
from e-pay slip distribution..
ASSISTANT ACCOUTANT(Held from Oct 2011 to Feb 2014)
Worked as anAssistant Accountant in the Insurance and Taxation department of Aga Khan Hospital and Medical College
Foundation. Ensure timely submission of internal Tax and Insurance Report to the Assistant Manager together with the
analysis quality modes to bring in improvement in quality and reduction in cost.
Major responsibilities included:
Job Tasks performed for Vendor’s Taxation:
Preparation of tax Challans and ensure the timely submission to Government Treasury.
Monthly E-Filling to FBR.Processing
Preparation of Sale Tax Withheld Challans and ensure the timely submission to Government Treasury.
Monitoring of withholding tax deductions at source (Local and Foreign Currency) and its timely deposition in
government treasury
Monthly and yearly reporting to FBR related to daily withholding tax deduction at source (Preparation and
Submission).
Prepare the issuance of withholding Tax certificate to vendors.
Assist in preparation of response to Government Authorities on all correspondences.
Tax Reconciliation (LCY & FCY) on quarterly basis and follow-up with users for corrective measures
Preparation and submission of tax withholding payments to FBR on weekly basis.
Job Tasks performed for Insurance:
Preparation, Lodgment and follow-up of insurance claims and to fulfill the requirements of insurance
companies and surveyors regarding the settlement of insurance claims.
Regular correspondence with the insurers for continuation and discontinuation of insurance coverage.
Assist in IAR / MBD, Health, Vehicle, Marine and Travel insurance policies.
Renewal of all insurance policies on yearly basis, and computation of yearly sum insured under various policies
with the consultation various department.
To verify the insurance premium invoices under Marine, Group Life, Motor Vehicle, Personal accident, Health
Insurance, Cash in transit, Fidelity and Industrial all risk and ensure the timely payment of premium.
Manage timely submission claims for losses and ensure reimbursements from insurance companies at correct
values
To insure the proper allocation of insurance premium cost to various department on monthly basis
