1. Appointment of workers
- Issuance of appointment advice for appointment of new workers.
- Issuance of appointment letters
- Sending the confirmation advice to the concerned BU before confirmation of workers.
- Issuance of Confirmation letters.
- Feeding/checking the personal data of Workers/Apprentices in computer.

2. Leaves
- Input the leaves of workers in Computer and making the entries on attendance punch cards.
- Maintaining of leave record of workers.
- Preparation of statement of un-availed C/L and S/L for encashment at the end of year.
- Giving the different type of information regarding leaves of workers to the BUs as and when
required.
- Preparation of Performa for special sick leave for getting approval of management.
3. Increments
- Preparation of personnel appraisal form of workers
- Issuance of Normal Increment letters on every month after receiving the appraisal forms.
- Issuance of Special Increment letters.
- Issuance of promotion letters of workers.
- Preparation of different statement regarding wages, grade etc.
4. Reward / Special payment
- Issuance of Performa for special payment to the BUs on their request.
- Preparation of letter for special payments.
- Sending the copy of the letter to wages for payment.
5. Disciplinary Actions
- Issuance of advisory notes on habitual absence.
- Issuance of advisory notes on habitual late come.
- Issuance of warning on misconduct.
- Issuance of charge sheet on misconduct.
6. E O B I
- To register all the workers with EOBI and get the registration cards from EOBI.
- Preparation of claim papers for deceased/retired employees at site for Old-age pension.
- Making the monthly contribution to EOBI.
- Preparation of Bank Vouchers for EOBI Cheque.
- Individual contribution cards for submission to EOBI on annual basis.
- Provide different information to EOBI as and when required.

2. 7. GROUP INSURANCE
- Preparation of claim papers in respect of accident of workers
- Preparation of claim in respect of death of worker.
8. Retirement
- Issuance of intimation letter about retirement of workers two month earlier.
- Issuance of retirement letter.
- Getting the clearance certificate from the BUs of retired worker.
- Sending the leave balance, deficit production, clearance certificate etc. to wages section for
final settlement of worker.
- Preparation of claim papers of retired worker for submission to EOBI.
- Issuance of service certificate.
9. Resignation
- Issuance of resignation acceptance letter of workers.
- Sending the necessary information i.e. date of birth, date of appointment, designation etc.
to wages section for final settlement of worker.
- Obtaining clearance certificate from the BUs.
- Sending the leave balance, deficit production, clearance certificate etc. to wages section
for final settlement of worker.
- Issuance of service certificates
10. 25 Years & 40 Years Service Jubilee
- Giving the information to HRD about the 25 years & 40 years service jubilee of workers.
- Preparation of letters for service jubilee
- Preparation of vouchers of service jubilee amount.
- Distribution of certificates and vouchers to the workers.
11. Apprenticeship
- Coordinate with HRD.
- Arrangement for Medical Exam. of apprentices.
- Making the Contract Forms.
- Send these Contract Form to Directorate of Apprenticeship for registration.
- Issuance of Stipend letters.
- Issuance of Warning, Charge Sheet etc. for committing misconduct.
- Issuance of inquiry letter.
- Issuance of dismissal letters.
- Issuance of experience certificate.
- Preparation of Form APP.28 for approval of premature termination of apprenticeship for the
Directorate of Apprenticeship Training.

12. Contract workers
- Issuance of employment requisition form of contract workers to the BUs.

3. - Getting the approval from Manager CSG for issuance of contract letters.
- Issuance of temporary appointment letters of workers for not exceeding 90 days and 9 months.
- Issuance of termination letters after completed the period.
- Issuance of termination letters at the request of BUs.
- Issuance of Clearance form for their final settlement.
- Making the payment of contract workers.
- Making the cash vouchers for payment of contract workers.
- Making the bank vouchers and sending to F&A for cheques.
13. Returns under Labour law
- Preparation of half yearly and yearly statistical reports for Labour Directorate, Govt.of Sindh
- Maintaining of different registers under the factories act.
