3. Traditionally on that Day people give to each
other different sweets in a shape of a heart,
flowers and little souvenirs. It come from from
Middle Ages. On February, 14 sweethearts
exchanged little gifts: by gloves, finger-rings,
sweets. But the unchanging attributes of a
holiday are heart-shaped greeting cards and
red roses.
4. In Ivano-Frankivsk college the celebration of Saint Valentine’s day took place too.
Students gladly participated in the event showing their talents.
Read out verses, the stages showed, songs sang, stove baking, did sceneries. They attached many
efforts, to pass to a festive atmosphere the audience.

10. I baked “Heart Cookies "
recipe:
Margarine - 250 m.
Eggs - 2.
Sodium - 0,5 tea-spoon.
Sugar - 1 glass .
Flour - 1-1,5 glasses .
Cooking any is a 1 glass.
Salt - pinch .
11. 1. Warm up margarine. Add eggs, sugar, soda, salt.
2.Sift flour and make dough.
3.Divide it into two parts. Put one part in a freezer for 15 minutes.
4.Loosen the second part of dough, cut out hearts and
expound on the sheet smeared by oil. From above to spread cooking.
5.Now take the second part of dough from a refrigerator and
grate it on a grater over filling. After it put the Viennese thin
captain in an oven on 30 minutes with a temperature 180 С.
