I have been retired for the past eleven years and am finding that I desire to rejoin the workforce.

EXPERIENCE
1976 to 2004
Owner, Erickson’s Industries Inc.
In 1976 we (my father & I) founded Erickson’s Industries Inc. Our primary focus was to become
the largest wholesale pickup canopy manufacturer in the Northwest. Within a year I purchased a
competitor and was now in the retail/wholesale business, along with manufacturing &
distributing canopies.
By 1980 our business had grown substantially and I was tasked with acquiring retail property to
support our growth. We purchased a 1.5-acre site and built our retail & manufacturing facility.
This became so successful we were forced to expand into a full painting facility and welding
fabrication shop as well. In 1980 we also expanded to RV sales and service. We were very
successful as a StarCraft & Palomino folding trailer dealer. Also incorporated travel trailer lines
such as Aljo & Alli. In 1984 my father became ill and could no longer continue his role in our
company and accepted my offer to continue our dream alone. After analyzing the growth
potential in the RV sector, I concluded it would be more profitable to focus my efforts in the truck
accessory business. By 1990, I became the largest truck accessory dealer in the state of Oregon. I
have successfully overseen every aspect of my wholesale/retail/manufacturing operation.
