Review of a coal seam methane facility in the Surat Basin in the vicinity of Chinchilla on behalf of
CS Energy. CS Energy commissioned a study on the capital costs and project operating profile for
potential coal seam methane. The project included the option to take coal seam methane gas
from three separate unitised fields and feed into a single central production facility whereby the
gas is exported to the Roma to Brisbane pipeline or to alternatively to a gas turbine.

MINPROCENGINEERS PTY LTD
Lead Engineer for the neutral leach, weak acid leach and pre-neutralisation plants for
Pasminco Metals Electrolytic Zinc Refinery, Tasmania. Lead design engineer carrying overall
responsibility for the design of the hydrometallurgical leaching plants. Plant design was
undertaken concurrently in Brisbane over a two-year period by a multi-disciplined team of
seventeen draftsmen and five engineers. Key achievements in this project were in the
selectionof appropriate materialsincludingPVDFandFRPforthe acid service andthe design
of the now world standard segmented FRP thickener covers. Capital value $26 million.

As DesignEngineer/Mechanical Plant, I wasinvolvedinthe preliminarydesignandpricingof

During this period, I was also appointed Area Engineer for Loy Yang ‘A’ Unit 2 Power Station
Feedwater Heating Plant, in Victoria Australia. I was responsible for on-site design
modifications, contractor supervision, progress claims, manpower planning and assisting in
commissioning. Priorto mobilisingtosite,I carried out pipeworkdesignandstressanalysis,
vessel and heater design, and condenser design utilising proprietary computer software
