Personal Details
I am a positive, optimistic and patient person. I am very focused & dedicated towards
my work / task. Always think for others & extend help whenever & wherever
required. I want to contribute in the area of human development w.r.t. all. Also want
to contribute in developing MSMEs w.r.t. HR & organisational culture.
I have over fifteen years of HR experience and served in the HR function (in textile
industries) in a managerial capacity. I have worked with Morarjee Textiles, Butibori,
Nagpur, Raymond Ltd. Yeotmal (Denim Plant), and Indo Count Industries, Kolhapur.
During my service I was nominated for various executive development programmes
organized by Manford Allianz, Delhi, XLRI – Jamshedpur, Wellingkar Institute,
Mumbai etc….
In my current role as a Human Resource Consultant, I have handled a wide range of
assignments including 5S & Quality Circle initiatives, Organization Transformation,
Employee Engagement Surveys, Performance Management Systems etc., across
different industries / sectors.
I enjoy assisting organisations in managing the cultural transition to build a
competitive work culture through various strategic and creative HR initiatives. I have
conducted large-scale Quality Circle programmes and workshops for employees and
managers to create quality awareness and thereby, improvements in organizational
working.
I have played an active role in assisting companies, including start-ups to shape their
culture through value building efforts and formulation and implementation of various
HR policies and initiatives.
I am engaged in several large assignments involving strategic HR aspects as well as
designing and detailing HR initiatives based on organizational needs and/or through
employee satisfaction surveys.
The details of my consultancy assignments are placed below:
My Consultancy Assignments: - (December 2006 onwards)
Organisational studies, systems design, training & implementation
1. Morarjee Textiles Limited, Nagpur (Unit I & Unit II) – April 2008 onwards
(Special Note : I take pride in saying that I have worked as an executive at Morarjee
Textiles Ltd. & thereafter, also worked for them as a consultant)
I did an assignment for them on Quality Circles that resulted in a positive
turnaround of the attitude of the workforce. Thereafter, I covered the workforce
through a foundation programme to lay the groundwork for taking change,
customer focus and identification & elimination of waste as imperatives.
2. Sai Electricals, Meerut (Transformer Manufacturer) – August 2007 onwards
I did an assignment for them on Quality Circles that resulted in a positive
turnaround of the attitude of the workforce. Thereafter, I undertook an assignment
with the management team to streamline the process of setting and monitoring
KRAs & its linkage with Performance Incentive Scheme. Also, strengthened
activities like review, monitoring, target setting for their sales team by
establishing quarterly meetings, scorecard etc…
3. Sai Computers, Meerut (Billing for UPPCL) - August 2007 onwards
I conducted a diagnostic survey to know the strengths & weaknesses of Sai
Computers at their branches at Meerut, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Jhansi, Kanpur,
Bijnour, Chitrakoot, Banda, Amroha, Badaun, Sambhal, Chandausi & Lucknow &
initiated further actions based on the survey findings. I continue to regularly visit
all the above mentioned branches to build a competitive work culture through
various strategic and creative HR initiatives. Also initiated & coordinated a
programme titled “Light My Fire” for their Sr. Executives.
Sai Computers started operations at Brahmapur, Odissa from April 2013 where I
helped them to finalise project, remove hurdle w.r.t. change management
alongwith setting up HR policies & establishing the culture. Presently they are
working at five towns (Aska, Baudh, Bhanjnagar, Bolangir and Brahmapur). This
number will go up very soon because of their performance and effective work
culture.
In September 2013 they have started operations at Sagar (MP). Here too, I am
involved in setting up HR policies & establishing the culture. Further to this, I am
helping them in expanding their work in other states of India.
4. P. N. International, Lucknow & Delhi (100% EOU unit) & Karam
Industries, Sitarganj including their regional offices at Mumbai, Bangaluru,
Hyderabad & Kolkata. (Manufacturer of Personal Protective Equipment -
PPE) – Apirl 2008 onwards
I developed the performance management system for staff and conducted a
diagnostic survey at Karam Industries at the plants and initiated remedial actions
based on the survey. I visit all the above mentioned branches regularly to provide
guidance on HR related issues and to build a competitive work culture through
various strategic and creative HR initiatives. Am also associated in conducting
programmes since 2010 for their sales team on presentation and selling skills.
5. Dayal Fertilizers, Meerut – December 2006 - 2008
Conducted a diagnostic exercise to know the effectiveness of their chain of Dayal
Bandhu Kendras (retail outlets) in UP. I have done counseling of their core
executives based on 360 degree appraisal and an assignment on Quality Circles at
the workers Level.
6. Shashi Cables Limited, Lucknow (Conductor & PVC cable manufacturer) –
January 2007 onwards
I have provided guidance on HR related issues and Quality Circles. Also helped
them for expansion & establishment of their PVC Cable plant.
7. Anand Motors Agencies Limited, Lucknow (1st
Dealer of Maruti Suzuki in
UP) – August 2007 onwards
Conducted a diagnostic survey of Anand Motors & initiated further actions based
on the survey findings. I conduct need based trainings related to HR and General
Management topics and also provide employee counseling services whenever
needed. I visit all their workshops and showrooms situated at Lucknow and
adjoining districts of Bahraich and Balrampur.
8. Indus Valley Promoters Limited, Meerut (Real Estate / Construction) – July
2008 onwards
Am providing guidance on HR related issues.
9. Keivy Enterprises, Lucknow (Dealer & Distributor of Dupont Car Paint,
Wallpapers, Exterior Cladding, Fabricator of Solid Surfaces and
Manufacture and sales of UPVC Windows) – January 2007 onwards
Involved in implementation of entrepreneurial model for employees based on
book named “Maverick” written by Ricardo Semlar. Also providing guidance on
HR related issues.
10. Parvatiya Plywood, Ramnagar, Uttarakhand – March 2007 onwards
Am providing guidance on HR related issues & follow-up activities of Quality
Circles. Also helped them in strengthening their Sales Team by guiding them on
sales method along with improvement in sales skills and conducted various need
based training programmes for their Supervisors.
11. Goldrush Sales & Services Limited, Dealer for Tata Motors, Lucknow –
November 2009 to December 2010
Conducted a diagnostic survey and initiated further actions based on survey
findings.
12. Construction Equipment Company (CECO), Meerut (Manufacturer of
Bridge bearings) – August 2010 onwards
Initiated HR related activities for their manufacturing unit and for strengthening
their sales force. Conducted awareness programme for quality circles.
13. Arvind Prakashan Pvt. Limited, Meerut (Publishing House for School Text
Books) – April 2010 onwards
Am providing guidance to them on HR related issues. Helped them in recruitment
and setting up their Sales Office at Delhi. Am visiting their sales office regularly
to train, guide and monitor their sales team. Also conducted workshops for school
teachers on behalf of them at Deharadoon, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Haridwar,
Meerut.
14. Bansal Engineering College, Meerut – April 2009 onwards
I helped them in recruitment of faculty and developed their Faculty Performance
Evaluation system for better education & effectiveness. Also helped them in
promotion at Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh by meeting various education
consultants and Coaching Centers.
15. Elecon, Meerut (Manufacturer of Transformers & Conductors) – November
2010 onwards
I have provided guidance on HR related issues & initiated the Quality Circle
movement at their unit.
16. Floral Electricals Private Limited, Meerut (Manufacturer of CTPT) –
November 2009 onward
Am providing guidance to them on HR related issues and initiated the 5S
movement at their plant.
17. Sukkoon Beauty Parlor, Meerut - November 2009 onward
Am providing guidance on HR related issues and initiated the 5S movement. Also
established performance based pay system with encouragement to enhance work
related skills. It resulted in significant increase in revenue. I regularly visit their
branches at Meerut and Ghaziabad for monitoring. I am helping them in
expanding their work in areas like; Men’s Parlour, Spa, Wellness Center
etc…..
18. Vegetal Bio Actives (Derma Division) - Part of AMA Herbal Laboratories (P)
Ltd, Talkatora, Lucknow – January 2010 onwards
Conducted a diagnostic survey & initiated further actions based on the survey
findings. I continue to provide guidance on HR and Sales (Pharma) related issues.
I have been able to strengthen activities like review, monitoring, target setting for
their sales team by establishing monthly meetings, scorecard etc… I am helping
them in expanding their work across India and in others segments i.e.
Natural Textile Dyes.
19. Udyog Bandhu, Department of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh – 2011-2012
Assisted in the project to set their KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
