Project Description: A SVC (Static VAR Compensator) is a high voltage system that
controls dynamically the network voltage at its coupling point. Its main task is to keep the
network voltage constantly at a set reference value. Thyristor valves are used to control
the reactive power in the network and these thyristors are controlled by the Simatic TDC.
In this the project the capacity is +300 MVAR to -300 MVAR.
 Project Contribution:
 High voltage reactors and resistors testing.

Project Description: This project consists of conversion from Siemens S7 and Siemens
S5 system in SPPA T3000. There are 2 Nitrogen Generation Unit , 1 is on S5 system and
other is on S7. Each Nitrogen Generation Unit having 2 compressor panels, 1 C14 High
level control panel (Cooling) and 1 Main control panel. All this system is replaced by a
single SPPA T3000 system.

Project Description: This is basically Research and development type project. Wincc
V7.2 is using for control SVC (Static VAR Control) system. The 2 monitors are connected
to a single computer. The control and monitoring of the system should be operable from
both the monitors. But only 1 monitor will be active at 1 time. The activation of monitor is
possible by mouse cursor and also with function key from keyboard.
Name of Project: Western Alberta Transmission Line, Canada.
Client : Siemens AG.
Software Used : Wincc V7.2.
Project Description: Western Alberta Transmission line is the high voltage DC (HVDC)
Line for transmission of Power from Edmonton to Calgary and vice versa. The capacity of

this DC line is 1000KV. There are two stations one is transmitting and one is receiving.
The transmitting station (Convertor) converts AC to DC with the help of IGBT and
transmits to the other station. In receiving station (Inverter) the again this DC is
converted to AC and used for commercial.
 Project Contribution:
 Development of HMI for both stations in Wincc.
 Simulation and functional testing of HMI.
Name of Project: Wieringenmeer, Sweden
Client : Siemens Sweden.

Project Description: Wieringenmeer is a gas turbine project and conversion from ABB
to Siemens. The project scope to conversion of logic from ABB Advant system to Simatic
PCS7. Also define the standards for conversion. Design standard blocks in SCL language.
Simulation and testing of the developed logic.

Name of Project: Al-Mussaib, Iraq
Client : Siemens AG.
Software Used : SPPA T3000.
Project Description: The project is a 200 MW combined cycle power plant powerplant
located in Al-Mussaib, Iraq. This power plant is damaged during war. The project is to
revamp this power plant in SPPA T3000 System, engineering and commissioning. Also
upgrade the old system from TXP to T3000.
 Project Contribution:
 Engineering of Air flue gas system in T3000.
 Engineering of Common utility section.
Name of Project: Conowingo Hydro Power Plant
Client : Siemens USA.
Software Used : PCS7, SPPA T3000.
Project Description: Conowingo is the Hydropower plant situated in USA, having
capacity of 100MW power generation. The project scope is to convert the software from
PCS7 to SPPA T3000. The CFC blocks written in SCL and STL code converted in T3000
Compound components.
 Project Contribution:
 Study of SCL and STL code of PCS7.
 Convert it into the SPPA T3000 Software code.
 Generate the Macros and Compound Component for each block.
 Test the functioning of the converted blocks comparing with PCS7.

Name of Project: Automotive Body Shop for Mercedes Benz A & B Class
Client : Siemens AG. Austria.
End Client : Daimler AG. Rastatt, Germany

 Project Description: Mercedes Benz is the world’s No.1 and leading automobile industry
which manufacture world class and safest cars.
The project is the engineering, construction and commissioning of body shop for A & B
class cars. The whole project is distributed in 41 areas; each area is used to manufacture
the different parts of the car and assembly. Siemens PLC is used to control the each area
as the ratio one PLC for each area. For each area there is one main operating station and
one remote operating station called as EBF. Each area included with robots, loading
station, robots with special mechanism (welding, cutting, bolting) and measuring system.
All the equipment in the area is connected to the PLC via Profinet and Profisafe (For
failsafe).
 Project Contribution:
 Development of Visualizations for 41 PLC Systems in Integra designer software
(proprietary software from Mercedes Benz).
 Develop a runtime module in Integra Standalone System.
 Profinet networking and hardware configuration of the PLC system with Step7.
 Online testing the visualization modules with PLC system.

Client : Siemens Sweden.

Project Description: This is a gas turbine power plant situated in the city Rheden. This
is generated power as well supply the hot water for the city. The project scope to convert
the existing code from ABB adavant system to Siemens Simatic PCS7 system. Also
simulation and testing of the PCS7 system.

Name of Project: Batching Plant for Glass preparation.
Client : Transweigh India Ltd.
End Client : Milly Glass Works, Mombassa Kenya.

 Project Description: The Batching Plant is the system of batching, Mixing and
Conveying of raw material for preparation of glass manufacturing feeded to the furnace.
The capacity of plant is 110 Tones per day. The system consists communication with the
batching controllers with modbus protocol. The supervisory control is used to control the
system.

 Designing of the PLC panels
 Programming of the PLC’s, Development of screens for WinCC station
 Commissioning of the Plant.

 Project Description: The project contains 14 Panels with HT and LT power section. Used
to Heat of 10 KM pipeline containing sulfur. The temperature of the pipe is controlled via
the PLC system and TYCO temp Controllers. The Modbus master communication between
Temp controllers and PLC to acquire the data DCS. The SIPROTEC Relays of SIEMENS are
used to control the HT panel; these relays are connected with PLC via profibus.
 Project Contribution:
 Designing of PLC Panels.
 Programming of S7-300 PLC using Step 7.
 Programming of Touch Panel using Wincc Flex software.

 Project Description: The project contains 7 drive panels. VFD having three modes of
operation Local/Remote/DCS. In Local mode VFD controls from the Local panel, in DCS
mode VFD controls from the DCS via profibus. The remote selection from DCS through
profibus. In remote mode the VFD controls from the Remote panel in field.

weight technology.

 Project Description: It’s a material dosing, mixing and feeding system for making the
biscuits. In Dosing systems the material required for biscuits is weighed as per the recipe
in the hopper. These materials feed into the mixer for mixing. During mixing the required
quantity of water is added. After mixing the material is laid on the conveyer and a thin
sheet of material is made by rolling. This sheet is cut in the proper biscuit moulds and
conveyed into the oven for baking. After baking the biscuits are conveyed to the packing
section.

 Project Description: The Batching, Mixing and Conveying System is basically for raw
material preparation for glass manufacturing feeded to the furnace. There are two CPU
313-2DP for different plants (100 TPD and 65/35 TPD), three ET200s modules and two
WinCC stations. These all are connected on Profibus DP network. MSR3 is the dedicated
instrument for weighing and batching manufactured by Fister Germany. MSR3 is
communicated with the PLC on ASCII communication with 3964 R communication module.
The other S7-200 system is for furnace feeding and reject cullet feeding system. This PLC
communicate with TP 177 micro on MPI network, which is for controlling and monitoring of
the system.

 Programming of the PLC’s, Development of screens for WinCC station
 Programming of TP-177 Micro with WinCC Flex.

 Project Details: This is RV mixer plant used for the preparation of coal bricks. The basic
operation consists of mixing the materials according to the cycles sequence & settings the
time and speed for each cycle from OP7.

 Design & Preparation of the wiring diagrams of the PLC & Starter Panels.
 Programming of PLC and drive.
 Testing of PLC & Drive Panels.

 Project Details: The project contains the automatic controlling of chiller package of 100
TR. The Plant operated on both Auto and Manual mode. The loading and unloading of the
compressor is automatically controlled on the temperature and pressure of the plant. The
panel view plus 400 is used for controlling and monitoring the plant.

 Programming of micrologix 1500 PLC and Panelview 400 plus.

 Installation & commissioning as per the requirements.
Project Name : Automation of power house
Client : HDFC IT Center, Mumbai.
System : Allen Bradley makes micrologix 1500 PLC
Software Used: Rslogix500.
 Project Details: In this project the data of 3 Air Circuit Breakers in the Switchgear
panels for three independent power lines and two bus couplers. Whenever the power is
shutdown from one of the particular bus coupler is on and the power is distributed through
another line. And whenever the power is recovered the bus coupler is OFF and switch on
the ACB. There are three potential sensing devices which detect the voltage in the line
present or not. Depending on this the further operation of bus coupler and air circuit
breaker takes place. All data these bus couplers and ACB’s are transferred to the data
view station through MODBUS.
 Project Contribution:
 Programming of Micrologix 1500 PLC.
 Commissioning of project.

Project Description: Western Alberta Transmission line is the high voltage DC (HVDC) Line for transmission of Power from Edmonton to Calgary and vice versa. The capacity of

After mixing the material is laid on the conveyer and a thin sheet of material is made by rolling. This sheet is cut in the proper biscuit moulds and conveyed into the oven for baking. MSR3 is the dedicated instrument for weighing and batching manufactured by Fister Germany. MSR3 is communicated with the PLC on ASCII communication with 3964 R communication module. The other S7-200 system is for furnace feeding and reject cullet feeding system. Whenever the power is shutdown from one of the particular bus coupler is on and the power is distributed through another line. And whenever the power is recovered the bus coupler is OFF and switch on the ACB. There are three potential sensing devices which detect the voltage in the line present or not.
