Project (VII) Cummins Paralleling System.
Synopsis:
This project involves understanding and development of different Power Management process as per the
customer requirement using Cummins Power Generation Tools. To develop PLC, SCADA & HMI Software
applications which required to control power management and distribution projects using Schneider and
Rockwell automation Tools Communicate with different kind of Remote networking tools. Communication
tools like: Lonworks, Modbus, Modbus Plus, and Ethernet.
Also this project involves the short comings & disadvantages of the current Cummins Standards
templates which used to control the Power Management & Distribution systems. Also Prepare the Functional
and HMI Test Forms for testing the Power Management & Distribution software applications. This project
involves different power distribution/ generation devices like distribution panels, engines, load banks,
generators, monitoring controls, automatic transfer switches, fuel tanks, transformers, power cables and
switchgear equipment.
