The never ending feud between herdsmen and farmers in Nigeria can be solved by construction of ranches for the animals, grow grass (in 7 days) to restore order. We do not need the grazing bill, neither do we need to import grass from south America. The animals are healthier as these grasses are grown without insecticide, pesticides or fungicides, the environment is cleaner and this is better for the consumer. A single cow eats 8kg daily, thus to feed a cow for a year, it requires 1.5 - 2 acres (9 - 15 plots of land for grazing), thus for 100 cows (do the maths!). With fodder system, with fodder system, you need 4m by 12m space (less than 1/8 of a plot).
