Geographical factor of U.K
 United kingdom, island country located of the
northwestern cost mainland Europe. The united
kingdom comprises the whole of the island great
Britain, which contain England, Wales and Scotland as
well as northern portion of the island of Ireland. Other
major cities include Birmingham, Manchester in
England, Scotland and Swansea and Cardiff in Wales.
Geographical factor of Pakistan
 Pakistan is one of few countries in the world to have
every kind of geological structure. The geography of
Pakistan is a blend of landscapes. You’ll find plains,
deserts, forests, hills, and plateaus. There are coastal
areas along the Arabian Sea and mountains of the
Karakoram Range in the north part of Pakistan.
Objectives of U.K
 necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes for the
development of the self and the nation.
 promote love and loyalty to the nation.
 enhance understanding and respect for own and other
people’s culture and their place in contemporary
society.
 enhance the understanding and appreciate of
interrelationships among nation and promote positive
environmental and health practices.
Objectives of Pakistan
 To meet the basic learning needs of children in terms
of learning tools and contents
 To prepare students for the world of work, as well as
for entering professional and specialized education.
 To develop opportunities for technical and vocational
education in the country for producing trained
manpower, commensurate with the needs of industry
and economic development goal.
Curriculum of U.K
 Definition of Curriculum
“Curriculum refers to the means and materials with
which students will interact for the purpose of
achieving identified educational outcomes.”
 For primary school children, the subjects they must
learn are English, Math, science, design and
technology, information and Communication
Technology (ICT), history, geography, art and design,
music and physical education.
Curriculum of Pakistan
 Curriculum provides the sketch of education required
for the country. The curriculum sets direction for the
needs and purpose of education, nature of
institutions, quality of teachers, educational facilities
and the system of examination and evaluation.
Curriculum development is a process of making the
curriculum.
Teaching methods of U.K
 Most students benefit from the continuing support of
a tutor, from small classes or tutorial and seminar
groups and from a range of teaching methods that may
include discussions, games, problem- solving, projects,
practical work, peer tutoring, computer-assisted
learning and simulations.
Teaching methods of Pakistan
 Methods used in Pakistan are:
 Lecture method
 Problem-solving method
 Co-operative learning
 Project method
Evaluation of U.K
 Evaluation is a major term that covers measurement
and assessment.. The evaluation systems we envision
would include a range of summative and formative
components, such as an analysis of teacher
responsibilities and accomplishments, measurements
of student growth data, results from formal
observations.
Evaluation of Pakistan
 The examination system evaluates the students and,
through a process of analysis of result and audit,
examines the curriculum, the teaching methodology,
and the techniques and strategies used to assess and
evaluate the knowledge and competency of the
students.
Facilities of U.K
 Young people need to be nurtured in a clean, safe
environment, and have access to the best facilities
possible to encourage their development and learning.
OCS understands that the education sector needs
support from its facilities management company to
make the most of limited resources to deliver best in
class facilities.
Facilities in Pakistan
 Educational facilities are those facilities which are
provided by schools to the students. For example:
 Computer labs
 Library
 Science labs
 Cafeteria
 Play grounds
Teacher education in U.K
 The training of primary and secondary school teachers
is the same: teachers must hold a first degree and a
Postgraduate Certificate of Education awarded by a
university or college of higher education. Alternatively,
they must hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd) Degree
and have a qualified teacher status (QTS) which can be
obtained after successful completion of an approved
course of initial teacher training.
Teacher education in Pakistan
 Teachers’ professional education is viewed as one
of the most important factors in improving
students’ learning. Keeping this in view many
developed and less developed countries pay
significant attention to improve the practices of
teacher education. In order to develop capable
teachers they make conscious efforts to establish
and maintain quality teacher education
institutions.
Economical factor of U.K
 The United Kingdom’s economic freedom score is 75.8,
making its economy the 13th freest in the 2015 Index.
Its score has increased by 0.9 point since last year,
reflecting improvements in half of the 10 economic
freedoms, including fiscal freedom and labor freedom,
that outweigh declines in business freedom and
freedom from corruption.
Economical factor of Pakistan
 Decades of internal political disputes and low levels of
foreign investment have led to slow growth and
underdevelopment in Pakistan. Agriculture accounts
for more than one-fifth of output and two-fifths of
employment. Textiles account for most of Pakistan's
export earnings, and Pakistan's failure to expand a
viable export base for other manufactures has left the
country vulnerable to shifts in world demand.
Religious factor of U.K
 Religions and beliefs are notoriously difficult to
measure, as they are not fixed or innate, and therefore
any poll should be primarily treated as an indication of
beliefs rather than a concrete measure. On top of that,
religious individuals hold a range of attitudes towards
ethical issues which are frequently out of line with the
position of their religion’s hierarchy and closer to the
BHA’s.
Religious factor of Pakistan
 We should first understand that Pakistan is a country
that was based on Islamic identity, Muhammad Ali
Jinnah's Pakistan movement aimed to establish a
country that worked to protect the identity of Muslims
but that would not exclude other minorities, who
would go on to play a very important part in the
country, but still Islam is very important aspect of
Pakistan’s identity.
Democratic factor of U.K
 The UK Parliament is responsible for approving new
laws (legislation). The government introduces most
plans for new laws or changes to existing laws but they
can also originate from a Member of Parliament (MP),
a Lord or even a member of the public or private
group.
Democratic factor of Pakistan
 Democracy, a compound of two Greek words namely
“Demos” meaning “people” and “Kratos” meaning
“rule”, stands for the government of public. It is said to
be a ‘government of the people, for the people, by the
people’. More plainly, it is to suggest that the real
power, termed by Thomas Hobbes as “sovereignty”, lies
in the hands of common people in a democratic
system.
Philosophical factor of U.K
 Behind every school and every teacher is a set of
related beliefs--a philosophy of education--that
influences what and how students are taught. A
philosophy of education represents answers to
questions about the purpose of schooling, a teacher's
role, and what should be taught and by what methods.
Philosophical factor of Pakistan
 Pakistan’s national poet, Iqbal’s ideology was the
philosophical skeleton on which the flesh of Pakistan’s
creation was draped — he believed in the nobility of
humankind to such an extent that the people were
moved enough to actually create a new country for
themselves.
