VAT PITTA KAPH BALANCE HABIT MAKING
Always careful to digest else imbalances/ailments. No water drinking on eating, upto 40 minute before,
and upto 1 hr 30 minute after eating. Other time drink like drinking hot milk taking saliva in. !0 minutes
or so for one glass. Never, on speed or sky facing else high harms, pains. Eat slow chewing . Make habit
in 2/3 days. Enough saliva no water needed Milk, curd, curd water, juices, etc, water in other, no plain
water. Fruit juice in morning suiting coldness. Curd, curd water, suck things after sunrise, and milk after
sun set. Saliva. balances bat, pitta, kaph, cures 48 Bat, 50 Pitta, 50 Kaph ailments, related ones and
strong digestion. Never throw saliva. Collected much while on work and little on sleep. Licking or

Just after awake drink water slowly, pulling cheeks, 1 glass to 3, for night high quality saliva Clean teeth

powders/paste etc, Make enough. Never chilled or cold but room or body temperature water else
stomach not clean, problems. ailments, heart strokes and life. Make habits.
In Mangsir, Push luke or warm water in silver pots. In Magh-Falgun water warm or luke or very small
gold in earthen pot water. In Chait ,Baisakh,Jeth water in copper pot or small copper in earthen pot
water. In Asar, Saun, Bhadau, Asoj, Kartik water in earthen pot. Quality material to cook, eat, store, of
earth, gold, silver, copper, iron, brass, bronze, others, tri dhatu, panch dhatu, stones, wood, bamboo etc
Add very little gold, silver etc on personal eating ones. Cooper pots offerings for expired forefathers. No
almunium, steel, plastic and so. Upto 2000 yrs before gold age, upto 1500 yrs before silver age, upto
1000 yrs before copper, age and upto 500 yrs before iron age.
More labor more and deep sleep. No sound sleep then complications By age the smaller the more the
elder the shorter. Make and follow time table. No sleeping immediately after eating else severe
effects. Eat after sun setting. Sleep in 2/3 hours of eating. Head east and foot west. Sometime south
and north. Never head on north. Close the right nostril and respire from left hole for 2/3 minutes. In
night hands in bed , eyes toward sky, on back, high comfort. Day time sleep left side. heart side.
Determine for Arogya and stick into natural ways . 1 month 20 % , 2 months 80 %, and 3 months no
imbalances/ailments, continue for non returning.
RITUCHARYA (SEASONAL REGIMEN)
Sun position divides a year into Aadaan kaal (Uttarayan) (Northeren Solstice) and Visarga kaal
(Dakshinayaan) (Southeren Solstice).In Aadan, the sun and wind are powerful. Takes away the people
strength and earth cooling qualities. The debialiting period. In Visarga kaal, sun releases strength to
people. Moon is more powerful, and earth is cooled by clouds, rain and cold wind.
Air, Sky make Vat; Fire, Water make Pitta & Earth, Water make Kaph. Such imbalances in Panhcha
tattwa viz.: earth, water, fire, air and sky, is Dosh. impurity. Such dosh results own individual natural
attributes so individual have own type daily regimen, season regimen, food, sleep etc.
Aadaan kaal (Uttarayan) (Northeren Solstice)
Shishir Magh and Falgun (mid January to mid march) Cold and dewy season. Digestive activity
becomes more powerful. Increased vata obstructed to spread by cold atmosphere. This can digest the
tissues. Timely eating is the must. The Tito (bitter) tastes are more powerful. Include these in the diet.
More intake of sweet, sour and salt helps reducing the vata. Tonic and preparations of jaggery
(molasses),wheat/gram flour products, milk products, sugarcane products, corn/edible oils etc are
needed. Massage with oil. Smear fine paste/powder of kumkum (kesar). Do exercise.Wear warm inners,
ear cap ,muffler , gloves, sock, thick cloths, leathers, silk, wool, others ,warm beds/items, and exposure
to sunlight & fire. Keep body and rooms warm.
Vasanta Chait, Baisakh (mid March to mid May) Spring. Hot weather. Intense sunlight. Increased
kapha is liquified by Sun heat diminishing agni (digestion), resulting ailments Tarro (astringent) tastes
are more powerful. Include these in diet.Use bitter and pungent ones. Eat easily digestible foods, barley,
honey, roasted foods, mango juice, beverages viz. asava, arista, sidhu (fermented sugarcane juice),
honey mixed water and water boiled with chandan/chandan extracts. Avoid hard to digest, cold, sour,
sweet, fatty food etc ,increasing kapha causing dosh (imbalance), resulting ailments. Vaman therapy,
exercises, dry massage, udvartana, dhumapana, kavala graha, anjana ,nasal medication, etc. After
massage bath with kapur or chandan or kumkum in water. Avoid day time sleep. No sweet, sour, salty,
oily and heavy for digestion foods.
Grishma Jeth, Asar (mid May to mid July) Summer. Sunrays powerful. Loss of moisture so reduces
strength Each day Kapha balances and vata increases. Piro (pungent) tastes are more powerful. Include
in the diet. Sweet, cooling, light ,fatty, liquid and unctuous foods/drinks, rice with light
accompaniments, ghee, milk, curd, corn flour, natural cold water ; Panak Panchsara are used. No
fermented or alchohal items of burning sensation and debility. Anoint body with chandan paste.. Cold
water bath. Stay in cool places day time. Night time sleep under moon applying sandal wood powder
.paste in body, Wear pearls, corals made jewelleries at night. Wear light dresses. Visit cool forest
areas and water bodies with flowers. Avoid salty foods, sour foods like citrus, Indian sorrel, bladder
clock etc ,pungent items like capsicum, too much hot spices foods, ,hot potency foods like black grams,
flat beans, sesame, etc or take less.
Visarga (Southern Solastice)
Varkha Saun, Bhadau (mid July to mid September) Rainy , cloudy low sunlight; Agni (digestion)
weakens further and vitiated by doshas. All three doshas vitiated. Use methods to mitigate doshas for
normalacy and measures to enhance digestion. A bit of honey in drinks, eatables, processing foods,
Amla (sour) tastes are more powerful .Include these in diet. Easily digestible foods, pulses, soup or
gravy of lentils, other juices/ soups, old grains, mastu, mohi etc are used. Rub dry medicated powder in
bath. Take bath. Apply medicated drugs paste over body daily after bath, Use panchkarma, and natural
attars. Avoid cold liquids, river water, day time sleep, exertions and much exposures in sunlight.
Sharad Ashoj,Kartik (mid September to mid November) Autumn. Increasing sunlight. Temperature
rises. Weak digestion fire. Pitta doshas starts vitiating. Sudden exposures in sunlight after cold season
aggravates pita. Take food dominant in sweet taste, light digestible foods, easily digestible foods, shali
rice, rice, barley, wheat, cooling, green gram, amala, honey, jaggery, bitter medicated ghee, etc. Bitter
taste for pitta doshas, Astringent and sweet tastes are included in food. Salty tastes are more powerful.
Include these in diet. Virecana, rakta moksana procedure and exposure to moon on night. Avoid heavy
food, curd, oil, strong fermented items, such others, animal meats of marshy lands, alkaline substances,
curd, exposure to wind/ sun light on peak, daytime sleeping etc.
Hemant Mangir, Push (mid November to mid January) Winter. Cold winds. Intense Sunlight.
Digestive fire increases.Kapha dosha accumulates. Sweet tastes are more powerful .Include in diet.
The digeston becomes more powerful. Increased vata are obstructed to spread by cold atmosphere
.This can digest the tissues. Timely eating be must. More intake of sweet, sour and salt helps reducing
the vata. Sweet, sour, salty foods; heavy foods, unctuous foods, thick meals, milk, milk products,
jaggery, jaggery tonic, jaggery prepartions, wheat/gramflour products, hot water, sugarcane products,
corn/edible oils, rum, wine etc Keep body and rooms warm Stay in warm and less windy places. Oil
massage on body and scalp, Smear with fine paste/powder of kumkum, or kesar. Exercise. Wear warm
insides, cap, muffler, gloves, sock, thick clothings, leathers, silk, wool, others, and warm beds/items,
sunlight & fire. Avoid too much spicy, bitter, astringent (cauliflower,potatoes etc),cold drinks, cold foods,
daytime sleeping etc.
Shishir Magh Falgun, Mind January to Mid March, Late Winter :Ditto as in Hemant above,
Vata dosh accumulates in dry or dehydrating heat of summer Aggravated in rainy season causes
weakened digestion, acidic atmospheric conditions, and gas produced from earth. Pitta accumulates in
rainy season by acidic conditions in atmosphere and a weakened digestion. It is aggravated in autumn
when heat returns .This occurs after cooling spell of rainy season. Kaph accumulates in cold season due
to cold and damp by winds, clouds, and rain. Aggravated in spring when warm weather liquefies
accumulating Kaph.
AAUSI, PURNE, EKADASI, PURUSHOTTAM, & VASTU
Aausi ( Amavasya ) no moon day and Purnima full moon day equally strong with own importances and
high uses. Note Aausi and Purne dates from patro and decide good days, bad ones, and follow. Full
moon and no moon effect some or little or very little on human body. Change in moon shape makes
change in gravity every man experiences. People tend to behave weird and short tempered on and
around this day. Sufferer from mental disorder tend to become more excited on Aausi and Purne and
around. Do puja, and other good means for all as needed, People fast on these days for good health.
Puja on a no moon and full moon day gives peace of mind ,calmness, other good results.
AAUSI Always fasting, considered fasting on an Aausi monday brings all wishes fulfilled. After
fasting a dip in river and worship Shiva. Not auspicious. Evil spirits are free and stronger. No auspicious
work is done, Tantra is mostly performed. Black magic can be stronger. Tihar, light festival is in most
inauspicious Aausi. Gods worshipped and lights lit to prevent evil spirit welcoming Laxmi. Kali worshiped
to destroy all evils. Wednesday Aausi, kal sharpa dosha pujais for suffering, good one can control the
Rahu Powerful to reduce kal sharpa dosha 70 percent. Monthly off day. No work. No journeys or
travelling. Shiva is also worshiped, associated with moon, most powerful, controls all evil and divine
forces, visible and invisible. Born in Aausi generally have a long life, travel abroad a lot and high
intelligence. Must be guided well, their intelligence, and capacities are not misused. Fasting and
saraddhe puja to souls of forefathers. Offer water to departed souls. The Aausi before 15th day of
Navratri called Mahalaya, Pitri pakcha for puja prayers to departed souls ensuring they in peace. Food
offered to ancestors. Vishnu declared ancestors come earth. Not offered puja and food they are
offended. Feed poor on these days for forefathers.
PURNE Many festivals are in Purnima. Punima is for prosperity and divinity.Any thing done in Purnima
is expected to be successful. Maha Mrityunjay Jap, its home, other, all yagyas, ansuthans, sadhanas,etc
are very powerful, and done for best results through gurus . Mahamritunjaya home can solve a lot of
problems and make life better. Please both Shiva and Vishnu. After fasting worship moon for blessings.
Can be very powerful and help attain wishes. Born on Purima are more intelligent, attractive and never
lacking wealth.
EKADASI Length from full moon to new moon divided into fifteen equal arcs. Each month. 2 lunar
phase or pakcha, two 11th lunar day (tithi) ekadasi on Shukla Paksha brightening moon, waxing phase
and Krishna Paksha fading moon, waning phase. In bright half, and dark half moon appear roughly 3/4
on ekadasi. One lunar day, tithi, is time taken by Moon to travel approximately 12 degrees space
reference to Sun. The Moon motion is irregular so tithi is not constant. Ekadashi the 11 tithi, a precise
phase of waxing and waning moon. 24 ekadashi's in a year. 2 extra ekadashis in a lunar leap year. Each
of particular benefits and blessings by specific activities Auspicious days, beneficial days are observed
by partial or full fast. Beans and grains are not eaten, believed contaminated by sin. Fruits, vegetables
and milk products eaten. Abstinences ,fasting, jap,worships, others, bhajans from ekadasi sunrise to
sunrise next day. Tenth tithi is observed by remaining untouched, sattwik food/dress, not ruined by any
influence.
The cut off time is 96 minutes before sunrise. If tenth day gets completed, at 96 minutes before sunrise,
then that day is Ekadashi. If tenth day is not yet completed at 96 minutes before sunrise, but continues
to be Dashimi sometime in that day, then ekadashi fasting done in following day. Ekadashi is
determined by a formula, and patro. Fasting makes free from malefic planetary influences, for
happiness and peace, to think/meditate on Ishvara, and moksha.
Vishtikarana coinciding with second half of ekadasi tithi, is avoided in all prosperity functions. For such
celebrations ekadasi tithi should not have dasami vedha. In Vishtikarana fasting done with no any
breaking at all. Vishtikarana coincides with second half of krishna dasami, Karana is half of a tithi. 7
moveable karanas and 4 fixed karanas. Vishti or Bhadra is one of moveable karanas rotate among other
tithis beginning with second half of shukla padyami. Vishtikarana is appropriate for killing, binding, use
of poisons, fire, arrows/ instruments, cutting and use of black magic ; auspicious functions related to
prosperity avoided as they end in destruction, thus good for waging wars successfully. Jataka Parijata :-

daytime and those coinciding with the second half are good at night. This auspicious day dedicated to
Vishnu. Chant "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya"
PURUSHOTTAM MONTH
Solar calendar 365 days. Lunar calendar 350 days. 15 days difference in lunar calendar added make an
extra month in every three years, the Adhikmas, Malmas or Purushottam mas. Dedicated to Sri Krishna,
known as Kharmas meanIng an impure month, as no Sun transition in this month. Inauspicious malmas
without Sankranti, was named .Purushottama mas, by Krsna by his name, blessed, declaring, will
forgive all sins if penanced in this month.
No buying new or staring things new. No marriages, bratbandha yagya paveet, grih pravesh of a new
bride. nam karan, establishing worship idol ; foundation laying & building of a new house, well, factory,
reservoir, garden; buying gold, , buying & wearing new clothes, new machineries e,g, cars, appliances ,
electronics, acquiring property , starting kamya vrat ( fasting with wishing/s) , donating weights, cow etc.
Anything new and significant avoided
Wake up early in morning, bath and tarpan (offering) to Sun with mantra On Ghrinim Aaditayamu or
Om Suryaya namah or Om Hram Hrim Hraum Suryaya namah: or other. Distribute fruits,

enlightenment, sin to righteousness, by continuing puja,yagya, mantra jap, various dan, etc for divinity,
inner self, and soul. Think on past deeds, promise to rectify, and rectify lifelong. Serve mankind. Do
spiritual & religious activities. Renounce all evil emotions e,g, greed, anger, selfishness, jealousy etc to
overcome weaknesses, for purification, and, all clean conscience. On last day donation, charities and
worshipping. Donating scriptures viz.: Ramayana, Gita, other scriptures. clothes, food, jaggery, gheu,and
others. Move from darkness to light, divinity, and Krishna,
VASTU Sky: west, dimension, add, addups and, related ones; Air: east, northeast, instable, movable,
gladness, gratifications,satisfaction,bliss and, related ones; Fire: south,capacity, energy, strenght,
confidence,determination, fame, name and, related ones: Water: north, spiritual,metaphysical,spiritual
and metaphysical thoughts knowledges,knowledges, spiritual and metaphysical knowledges realizations
through treating curing healing health activities and, related ones; Earth: middle , daigonal, stability,
immovable(achal), calm,peace, balance and, related ones

SIX TASTES ( SADRAS)
6 Tastes are Sweet, Sour, Salty, Bitter, Pungent, and Astringent, natural guide for proper nutrition,
healthy foods, digestion. avoiding toxicity. Innate wisdom. Each taste feeds mind, body, senses, and
spirit The brain sends signals for food form energy. Determine and follow proportion of 6 tastes in
each meal on desire tastes that balance makeup and shuns aggravating nature. Adequately met. No
cravings or over-consumption On top of these adjust taste of the season according to season and own
constitution as below.
Little lemon juice for sour taste. A side salad for Bitter and Astringent tastes. And so on. A Pitta
individual, will favor cooling foods and spices viz.:dark leafy greens and fennel high in Bitter and
Astringent tastes, requiring a smaller quantity of Pungent taste And so on.
Sweet, Water and Earth elements, heavy, moist, and cooling. Rich in fats, proteins, carbohydrates, and
water, Natural sugars, sugar, misri, jaggery, honey, others, items from these, milk, butter, ghee, cream,
wheat, rice, barley beans, lentils, bananas, mangos, cooked carrots, sweet potatoes, beets etc.
Increases bulk, moisture, and weight. Excellent for building seven vital tissues of plasma, blood, fat,
muscles, bones, marrow, and reproductive fluids .Builds all tissues. Increases saliva, soothes mucous
membranes, burning sensations, relieves thirst, and beneficial effects on the skin, hair, and voice. Calms
nerves.
Sour Earth and Fire elements, hot, light, & moist by nature. In lemon, limes , other sour fruits, yogurt,
cheese, sour cream ,vinegar, pickles, sauerkraut, soy sauce etc. In moderation stimulates digestion,
helps circulation and elimination, energizes body, strengthens heart, relieves thirst, maintains acidity,
sharpens senses, increases minerals absorption, helps extract minerals viz. iron from food. Cleanses
tissues, nourishes all vital tissues (dhatus) except the reproductive. Yogurt, exceptional, nourishes all
tissues
Salty Fire and Water elements, hot, heavy, and moist. In natural salts, sea salt, rock salt, seaweed, kelp,
salty nuts chips, pickles etc. Composition relates to water retaining quality. Taste somewhere between
sweet and sour on heavy and moist qualities. Sweet stimulates greatest water retention and weight
gain, salty taste similar effects, excess any of doshas. In moderation improves taste & flavor, improves
& stimulate digestion, lubricates tissues, liquefies mucous, maintains mineral balance, aids wastes
elimination, and calms nerves. Attracts water. Improves the skin radiance. Promotes overall body
growth.
Pungent Fire and Air elements, hot, dry, light. .In chili peppers, garlic, onions, black pepper, ginger,
cayenne etc. In small amounts, stimulates digestion & metabolism, clears sinuses, promotes sweating
& detoxification, dispels gas, aids circulation, improves metabolism, and relieves muscle pain.
Bitter Air and Sky elements, light, cooling, and dry. High in vitamins and minerals. In spinach, kale, green
cabbage, zucchini, eggplant , turmeric, fenugreek, dandelion root, coffee, tea, grapefruits, olives, bitter
melon etc. Often not appealing alone, stimulates the appetite, helps bring out flavor of other tastes,
detoxifies, and lightens tissues. Powerful detoxifying agent, antibiotic, anti-parasitic, and antiseptic.
Helps in reducing weight, water retention, skin rashes, fever, burning sensations and nauseas.
Astringent Air and Earth elements, dry, cooling, and heavy. Least common in all tastes High in vitamins
and minerals. In beans, lentils, raw fruits cranberries, pomegranates, pears, dried fruit, broccoli,
cauliflower, artichoke, asparagus, turnip, rye, buckwheat, quinoa, turmeric, marjoram , crackers, chips,
most raw vegetables, fruit skins. coffee, tea etc. Not cold as bitter but greater cooling effect than sweet.
Classified more on tongue effect. A puckering mouth sensation or a dry, chalky feeling (many beans etc).
Absorbs water, tightens tissues, and dries fats
FASTING
Ayurved states local products of own area works best
Kindles digestive fire. Burns accumulated toxins in body and mind. Eliminates gas, makes body light,
improves mental clarity, and preserves overall health. Regular, short-term fasting is recommended over
infrequent, long-term. Do on same day each week and ekadasi, other holy days depending on body and
cleansing requirements. Sunday is done for Sun and related diety and so on. Follow like that. Abstaining
from food or water for extended periods of time depletes bodily tissues, leading to doshic imbalance.
Types are: -Light foods only viz jaulo, fruits, vegetables, or juices only ; No solid foods, but water or
kadha or herbal teas ; Nothing at all. Determine fasting based on constitution, digestive strength, level
of ama, and overall vitality. Never deplete energy in a fast. New to fasting or have a chronic illness,
consult an vaidya. Effective fasting, results regular bowel movements with no gas or bloating, clean
tongue, fresh breath, lightness in body, clarity in mind, and increased energy.. Choose a fasting period
giving a peaceful, non-stressful routine. Break fasts gradually, slowly your way up to solid foods.
FOOD AURA Sprouts of almost all seeds, grains ,herbs and others have highest strength and levels of
aura, then respectively in fresh fruits, fruits, fresh vegetables, vegetables, beans, and grains. Such foods
gives aura level/strength, and associated multi benefits physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.
Fresh foods have thick aura. In old and wilted aura level and strength decreases. Stick to foods having
such powerful aura and so on as needed as above season wise.
HOT, COLD, OTHERS Store black peppers, piper longum (pipla), ginger, sutho, trikuta ,bojho,cumins etc
for warm/hot required purposes, and coorianders, mint etc cool, digest, afresh, and other benefits for
cool required purposes. Those growing under ground decreases sourness in blood. Store and use hing
i.e. asafoetida,, turmeric pod/ piece/ powders, dried amala, harro, barro,, triphals, etc. All as above
season wise.

TRADITIONS OF NATIVE RESOURCES, SELF STANDING,VERY CHEAP,VERY EFFECTIVE,EASY & FOR ALL
BOJHO is a widely used herb. Vacha in Sanskrit,Sweet flag in English , Botanical name Acorus Calamus. ,
popular world wide. Also called child's herb. All ailments of babies. Used regularly for babies, and all in
many forms. Any home remedy with Bojho base is very effective. Whole plant used. Make sure to
well sun dry roots .Amazing sweet smell. Essential oil derived wide variety uses. Make powder, easy, in
minutes. Burn Bojho piece in flame till black. Smell emanating incredible. Cools down, powder it. Not
bitter and given to children. Never overdose else vomiting and stomach problems. Pregnant women
should be very cautious to eat.
1. Babies: Small babies don't take feed, stomach bloated, pass gas often, indigestion, etc, then mix
above way made powder, a small pinch in breast milk and give to babies.
2. Teething buti/bracelets for children.. Anti bacterial, anti flatulent properties keeping babies diseases
free. Biting or sucking gives health benefits. A life saver, babies sickness, and raising without being
ill often. Tie Bojho in hands of newborns. If baby bites prevent sickness, stomach disorders, colic etc
or other ways effects. Mostly won't bite very young, except little later. Wards of insects. Soak
overnight. next day morning scrape skin and cut small pieces. Take a medium size needle. Thread by
desired/required size & colour strong thread of high comfort to baby. Insert into cuts and make small
Bracelet. Tie around hand and cut excess thread. Make soft dry inside then tie Make sure not tight
Pleasant smell, very good for babies, and all .Last a long time. If baby out grows size, add few more
pieces. Usually worn after 10 days or 30 days old till 3 to 4 months or more, depending on cases and
traditions. Choose bigger pieces. Use with black bangles, gajal etc . Not to use raw, to be used only
after shown in sun till darken.
3. Hair Lice: Hair oil very effective in treating head lice. .A natural insecticide very gentle on scalp safely
used no side effect. Shampoos very harsh, not advisable to use. Burn a long piece Bojho till black, cool
make fine powder Bojho powder 2 tsp. Unrefined sesame (til) oil 1 cup.. Mix and heat in a pan.
Bubbles start appearing around edges, put off and cool. Strain and store. Burn properly to powder
fine. Unrefined sesame oil or coconut, or mustard, or other traditional kitchen oils. If prefer add 1/4
cup Tulsi juice on heating .Heat till moisture evaporates and sizzling sound ceases. More effective . .
Take out lice completely by a lice comb/ nit comb. Wash bed sheet and comb in hot water for no re
infestation. Warm hair oil and massage in scalp. Soak for an hour before washing off with organic mild
soap or shampoo. Do at least twice weekly for some more weeks to get rid of lice and re infestation.
4. Speech Delay, Sore Throat. Cold, Cough, & Illnesses: Treat cough, cold and sore throat, and illnesses. A
small piece or pounded.suck for long for good relief. Sucking helps children on speech delay. Give a
small pinch of the root powder mixed with honey too
.5. Indigestion : For adults, take 1/8 th tsp of dry ginger powder.this powder. 1/2 cup of boiling water
and steep for a few minutes, strain and sweeten with honey. For all kinds of stomach ailments like
indigestion, stomach pain, flatulence, etc .
6.Insecticide: A very effective. Mix powder in water and sprinkle to get rid of insects. Very safe way in
houses with small children. Use pounded pieces. make small sachets. keep in wardrobes, cupboards etc
for roaches and insects.
7. Tika Never use artificial tika to children. Burn a piece till fully burnt. Rub in circular motion using
boiled water in sandalwood stone till a paste. Apply to babies, children and others..
8. Depression, Stress, Nerve Tonic, Epilepsy & Memory: It has more anti depression effects. 1 gram of
powder in honey or in warm water for a 2 weeks enhances memory. very calming on nerves, helps
improve memory, a good nerve tonic, and helps relax in stress, depression, epilepsy, and others. Put
lightly pounded root in a cup
of boiling hot water till to room temperature. Drink this decoction.
9. For Diarrhea: Very effective For children, burn a piece and powder. Mix a small pinch with honey
and give to children twice a day till good relief. Make sure not to overdose.
10. Inflammation & Infections : Use oil for treating various problems. Mixed with a base traditional
kitchen oil and massaged in skin prevents all skin infections. Very calming. When inhaled helps in
headaches & such others. Use as a massage oil for arthritis , rheumatic, such pothers and such pains.
11.Liquid for cough, cold, chest problems, throat problems, hiccups, other problems, illness, etc, and
all above cases: Mix required amount powders in boiled cooled water or pure cool water in clay pot,
or bottles or other utensil shake hundred or more times and keep on sun for one week or more and
use. Boil water type and cool water ways are two different types. OR Boil as required in water. cool
down. store and use. Drink little in morning and, evening, or as required but never over dose.
12. For good voice : Suck small piece long timer for some long period for singers, speakers and all
others.
13. Use as tonic with hot or cold water or other kitchen drinks or on many other ways.
14. Powder form: Use fine powders with hot or warm or cold water depending on season and cases for
all above purposes.
15. Anxiety, Mental, Memory and Brain: For anxiety problems, mental strength, memory powder, and
brain tonic use Brahmi or Ghodtapre tea and Bojho.
16. Keep well sun dried enough bojho and do above uses lifetime. Bottles or pots home aushadhi with
instruction sheet making long list as told here. Every year collect Bojho before/after Dasai, or in Dasai or
round the year.
17. Plant enough in farm.garden, several places, and large gamalas.18. SHARE AND TEACH TO MANY
MANY AND LET THEM SHARE AND TEACH TO MANY MANY OTHERS. SELF STANDING. Many other uses
and applications refer ayurvedic, home remedies and others. Add all other such uses and applications,
make long list. Use on all applicable cases to all, on free or very very cheap, very effective, best for all
people . People must take the selected Ayurvdic powders regularly for good health. Many took some
regularly for 25 years, in old age not taken any other, and always active.
Banned by the FDA for its ╬▓-asarone, considered toxic at certain level. Traditionally the roots is burned
and powdered to reduces the ╬▓-asarone content greatly. Sundry makes all okay.

RITUCHARYA (SEASONAL REGIMEN) Sun position divides a year into Aadaan kaal (Uttarayan) (Northeren Solstice) and Visarga kaal (Dakshinayaan) (Southeren Solstice).In Aadan, the sun and wind are powerful. Takes away the people strength and earth cooling qualities. The debialiting period. In Visarga kaal, sun releases strength to people. Moon is more powerful, and earth is cooled by clouds, rain and cold wind. Air, Sky make Vat; Fire, Water make Pitta & Earth, Water make Kaph. Such imbalances in Panhcha tattwa viz.: earth, water, fire, air and sky, is Dosh. impurity. Such dosh results own individual natural attributes so individual have own type daily regimen, season regimen, food, sleep etc.
  • 9. Aadaan kaal (Uttarayan) (Northeren Solstice) Shishir Magh and Falgun (mid January to mid march) Cold and dewy season. Digestive activity becomes more powerful. Increased vata obstructed to spread by cold atmosphere. This can digest the tissues. Timely eating is the must. The Tito (bitter) tastes are more powerful. Include these in the diet. More intake of sweet, sour and salt helps reducing the vata. Tonic and preparations of jaggery (molasses),wheat/gram flour products, milk products, sugarcane products, corn/edible oils etc are needed. Massage with oil. Smear fine paste/powder of kumkum (kesar). Do exercise.Wear warm inners, ear cap ,muffler , gloves, sock, thick cloths, leathers, silk, wool, others ,warm beds/items, and exposure to sunlight & fire. Keep body and rooms warm.

Increased kapha is liquified by Sun heat diminishing agni (digestion), resulting ailments Tarro (astringent) tastes are more powerful. Include these in diet.Use bitter and pungent ones. Eat easily digestible foods, barley, honey, roasted foods, mango juice, beverages viz. asava, arista, sidhu (fermented sugarcane juice), honey mixed water and water boiled with chandan/chandan extracts. Avoid hard to digest, cold, sour, sweet, fatty food etc ,increasing kapha causing dosh (imbalance), resulting ailments. Vaman therapy, exercises, dry massage, udvartana, dhumapana, kavala graha, anjana ,nasal medication, etc. After massage bath with kapur or chandan or kumkum in water. Avoid day time sleep. No sweet, sour, salty, oily and heavy for digestion foods. Grishma Jeth, Asar (mid May to mid July) Summer. Sunrays powerful. Loss of moisture so reduces strength Each day Kapha balances and vata increases. Piro (pungent) tastes are more powerful. Include in the diet. Sweet, cooling, light ,fatty, liquid and unctuous foods/drinks, rice with light accompaniments, ghee, milk, curd, corn flour, natural cold water ; Panak Panchsara are used. No fermented or alchohal items of burning sensation and debility. Anoint body with chandan paste.. Cold water bath. Stay in cool places day time. Night time sleep under moon applying sandal wood powder .paste in body, Wear pearls, corals made jewelleries at night. Wear light dresses. Visit cool forest areas and water bodies with flowers. Avoid salty foods, sour foods like citrus, Indian sorrel, bladder clock etc ,pungent items like capsicum, too much hot spices foods, ,hot potency foods like black grams, flat beans, sesame, etc or take less. Visarga (Southern Solastice) Varkha Saun, Bhadau (mid July to mid September) Rainy , cloudy low sunlight; Agni (digestion) weakens further and vitiated by doshas. All three doshas vitiated. Use methods to mitigate doshas for normalacy and measures to enhance digestion. A bit of honey in drinks, eatables, processing foods, Amla (sour) tastes are more powerful .Include these in diet. Easily digestible foods, pulses, soup or
  • 11. gravy of lentils, other juices/ soups, old grains, mastu, mohi etc are used. Rub dry medicated powder in bath. Take bath. Apply medicated drugs paste over body daily after bath, Use panchkarma, and natural attars. Avoid cold liquids, river water, day time sleep, exertions and much exposures in sunlight. Sharad Ashoj,Kartik (mid September to mid November) Autumn. Increasing sunlight. Temperature rises. Weak digestion fire. Pitta doshas starts vitiating. Sudden exposures in sunlight after cold season aggravates pita. Take food dominant in sweet taste, light digestible foods, easily digestible foods, shali rice, rice, barley, wheat, cooling, green gram, amala, honey, jaggery, bitter medicated ghee, etc. Bitter taste for pitta doshas, Astringent and sweet tastes are included in food. Salty tastes are more powerful. Include these in diet. Virecana, rakta moksana procedure and exposure to moon on night. Avoid heavy food, curd, oil, strong fermented items, such others, animal meats of marshy lands, alkaline substances, curd, exposure to wind/ sun light on peak, daytime sleeping etc. Hemant Mangir, Push (mid November to mid January) Winter. Cold winds. Intense Sunlight. Digestive fire increases.Kapha dosha accumulates. Sweet tastes are more powerful .Include in diet. The digeston becomes more powerful. Increased vata are obstructed to spread by cold atmosphere .This can digest the tissues. Timely eating be must. More intake of sweet, sour and salt helps reducing the vata. Sweet, sour, salty foods; heavy foods, unctuous foods, thick meals, milk, milk products, jaggery, jaggery tonic, jaggery prepartions, wheat/gramflour products, hot water, sugarcane products, corn/edible oils, rum, wine etc Keep body and rooms warm Stay in warm and less windy places. Oil massage on body and scalp, Smear with fine paste/powder of kumkum, or kesar. Exercise. Wear warm insides, cap, muffler, gloves, sock, thick clothings, leathers, silk, wool, others, and warm beds/items, sunlight & fire.   • 12. Vata dosh accumulates in dry or dehydrating heat of summer Aggravated in rainy season causes weakened digestion, acidic atmospheric conditions, and gas produced from earth. Pitta accumulates in rainy season by acidic conditions in atmosphere and a weakened digestion. It is aggravated in autumn when heat returns .This occurs after cooling spell of rainy season. Kaph accumulates in cold season due to cold and damp by winds, clouds, and rain. Aggravated in spring when warm weather liquefies accumulating Kaph.

  • 14. AAUSI, PURNE, EKADASI, PURUSHOTTAM, & VASTU Aausi ( Amavasya ) no moon day and Purnima full moon day equally strong with own importances and high uses. Note Aausi and Purne dates from patro and decide good days, bad ones, and follow. Full moon and no moon effect some or little or very little on human body. Change in moon shape makes change in gravity every man experiences. People tend to behave weird and short tempered on and around this day. Sufferer from mental disorder tend to become more excited on Aausi and Purne and around. Do puja, and other good means for all as needed, People fast on these days for good health. Puja on a no moon and full moon day gives peace of mind ,calmness, other good results.
  • 15. AAUSI Always fasting, considered fasting on an Aausi monday brings all wishes fulfilled. After fasting a dip in river and worship Shiva. Not auspicious. Evil spirits are free and stronger. No auspicious work is done, Tantra is mostly performed. Black magic can be stronger. Tihar, light festival is in most inauspicious Aausi. Gods worshipped and lights lit to prevent evil spirit welcoming Laxmi. Kali worshiped to destroy all evils. Wednesday Aausi, kal sharpa dosha pujais for suffering, good one can control the Rahu Powerful to reduce kal sharpa dosha 70 percent. Monthly off day. No work. No journeys or travelling. Shiva is also worshiped, associated with moon, most powerful, controls all evil and divine forces, visible and invisible. Born in Aausi generally have a long life, travel abroad a lot and high intelligence. Must be guided well, their intelligence, and capacities are not misused. Fasting and saraddhe puja to souls of forefathers. Offer water to departed souls. The Aausi before 15th day of Navratri called Mahalaya, Pitri pakcha for puja prayers to departed souls ensuring they in peace. Food offered to ancestors. Vishnu declared ancestors come earth. Not offered puja and food they are offended. Feed poor on these days for forefathers. PURNE Many festivals are in Purnima. Punima is for prosperity and divinity.Any thing done in Purnima is expected to be successful. Maha Mrityunjay Jap, its home, other, all yagyas, ansuthans, sadhanas,etc are very powerful, and done for best results through gurus . Mahamritunjaya home can solve a lot of problems and make life better. Please both Shiva and Vishnu. After fasting worship moon for blessings.

EKADASI Length from full moon to new moon divided into fifteen equal arcs. Each month. 2 lunar phase or pakcha, two 11th lunar day (tithi) ekadasi on Shukla Paksha brightening moon, waxing phase and Krishna Paksha fading moon, waning phase. In bright half, and dark half moon appear roughly 3/4 on ekadasi. One lunar day, tithi, is time taken by Moon to travel approximately 12 degrees space reference to Sun. The Moon motion is irregular so tithi is not constant. Ekadashi the 11 tithi, a precise phase of waxing and waning moon. 24 ekadashi's in a year. 2 extra ekadashis in a lunar leap year. Each of particular benefits and blessings by specific activities Auspicious days, beneficial days are observed by partial or full fast. Beans and grains are not eaten, believed contaminated by sin.   • 17. and milk products eaten. Abstinences ,fasting, jap,worships, others, bhajans from ekadasi sunrise to sunrise next day. Tenth tithi is observed by remaining untouched, sattwik food/dress, not ruined by any influence. The cut off time is 96 minutes before sunrise. If tenth day gets completed, at 96 minutes before sunrise, then that day is Ekadashi. If tenth day is not yet completed at 96 minutes before sunrise, but continues to be Dashimi sometime in that day, then ekadashi fasting done in following day. Ekadashi is determined by a formula, and patro. Fasting makes free from malefic planetary influences, for happiness and peace, to think/meditate on Ishvara, and moksha. Vishtikarana coinciding with second half of ekadasi tithi, is avoided in all prosperity functions. For such celebrations ekadasi tithi should not have dasami vedha. In Vishtikarana fasting done with no any breaking at all. Vishtikarana coincides with second half of krishna dasami, Karana is half of a tithi. 7 moveable karanas and 4 fixed karanas. Vishti or Bhadra is one of moveable karanas rotate among other tithis beginning with second half of shukla padyami. Vishtikarana is appropriate for killing, binding, use of poisons, fire, arrows/ instruments, cutting and use of black magic ; auspicious functions related to prosperity avoided as they end in destruction, thus good for waging wars successfully. Lunar calendar 350 days. 15 days difference in lunar calendar added make an extra month in every three years, the Adhikmas, Malmas or Purushottam mas. Dedicated to Sri Krishna, known as Kharmas meanIng an impure month, as no Sun transition in this month. Inauspicious malmas without Sankranti, was named .Purushottama mas, by Krsna by his name, blessed, declaring, will forgive all sins if penanced in this month. No buying new or staring things new. Rich in fats, proteins, carbohydrates, and water, Natural sugars, sugar, misri, jaggery, honey, others, items from these, milk, butter, ghee, cream, wheat, rice, barley beans, lentils, bananas, mangos, cooked carrots, sweet potatoes, beets etc.

Sour Earth and Fire elements, hot, light, & moist by nature. In spinach, kale, green cabbage, zucchini, eggplant , turmeric, fenugreek, dandelion root, coffee, tea, grapefruits, olives, bitter melon etc. Often not appealing alone, stimulates the appetite, helps bring out flavor of other tastes, detoxifies, and lightens tissues. Vacha in Sanskrit,Sweet flag in English , Botanical name Acorus Calamus. , popular world wide. Also called child's herb. All ailments of babies. Used regularly for babies, and all in many forms. Any home remedy with Bojho base is very effective. Whole plant used. Make sure to well sun dry roots .Amazing sweet smell. Essential oil derived wide variety uses. Make powder, easy, in minutes.
