Hired to restructure the entire process of the company warehouse and to reduce the amount of time required
for merchandise going out each day.
Tracked inventory shipped each afternoon to customers to confirm delivery of merchandise.
Improved employee turnover by converting the staffing from 90% temporary services to permanent
employees with 90-day probation periods.
Set up a system consisting of inventory control printouts, which were used to monitor and verify inventory
shipped each day,
Overnight shipments were handled in the same manner. Checkpoints were setup to verify each item shipped
daily. A UPS system was put in place, which allowed us at any time to check our inventory online to
determine if it was lost, delayed, or was delivered to the incorrect vendor.
Other duties:
• Significantly reduced transportation expenses by 90% and improved delivery time by contracting with a
new carrier.
• Generated savings through hiring full-time personnel and reducing temporary personnel costs.
