3. • Introduction
• ELNAHDA Cement was established in 2008
• EL NAHDA Cement is one of the largest cement
producers in Egypt. With an production facility in Qena.
• ELNAHDA Cement produces approximately 5500 tons
per day.
• ELNAHDA Cement is home to more than 500
employees.
• The company’s cement has proudly built some of Egypt’s
most well known landmarks and is building its future
around serving the market and growing customer
demands.
4. • Manufacturing process
1-limestone blending
2-limestone is burned with coal inside
rotary kilns
3-burned limestone is blended with slag
or gypsum in grinding mills

8. •Product segmentation
• ordinary Portland cement (OPC)
It is made by blending clinker with gypsum. Used in
construction where high initial strength is required
• Portland pozzolana cement (PPC)
In addition to gypsum, PPC contains fly ash in the tune if
25-30%. Addition of fly ash reduces the per ton cost of
cement. The long term strength of PPC is higher than
OPC
• Portland slag cement (PSC)
In addition to gypsum PSC contains blast furnace slag.
PSC is used where structure are susceptible to attack of
chloride and sulphate (marine, water and treatment
plants)

• 1- in Cairo (maadi)
2-in Qena (Nile towers)
• the company have no Distributors
• cement cannot be distributed over long distance
and is distributed in regionally.

• Individual House Builders
These are retail customers. Since they have limited technical
knowledge of construction material, brand value and durability are the
top most criteria for selection.

This segment consists of builders and big construction
companies who have sufficient technical knowledge of
product. Quality, price and service are most important for
these buyers
15. • Logistics process
Logistics is the process of strategically
managing the acquisition, movement
and storage of materials, parts and
finished inventory from suppliers
though the firm and on to customers. It
requires right product in the right place
at the Right time.
16. • Customer service
We work hard to be sure that customer receives the right
product, at the right quality, in the right condition, for the
right cost in order to meet the customer satisfaction. If the
product have any problem the customer call us and we fix
the problem.
17. • Demand Forecasting
now we work hard to know or to forecast the
expected future demand to be sure that we
delivered the product in the right place, but
we have problem that our Factory are so far
from Cairo and Alexandria and to solve this
problem we working now to open new
Factory in 6th of October

• By keeping track with latest market
development, we are engaged in
Manufacturing, Exporting and Supplying
wide range of the finest quality Cement
Plants and its Components
• Our product range is manufactured using
supreme quality raw material in compliance
with the international quality standards.

The packaging process in our factories occurs
during the manufacturing it’s the last step in the
packaging machine in the manufacturing process.

• We get Limestone from the Limestone
quarries in El-Menya
• We get coal from the Egyptian company for
coal
• We get fly ash from the Power plants in
Western desert
• We get gypsum from the Egyptian Co. For
Gypsum in Ismailia

23. Transportations
We don’t support delivering our products,
but the retailer and customer make his
order and take it from the factory direct.
24. Reverse logistics
When the customer or the retailer face any
problem with our product we compensate
him and the retained product we take it and
re cycle it again.

1.The difficulty in getting coal for manufacturing.
-We recommend importing the amount required for
production.

- We recommend paying more attention to the
quality standard and performing quality test after
