3. 1. Siswa mampu mengidentifikasi unsur
kebahasaan berupa Simple Past tense dan Past
Perfect Tense dalam dialog cause effect sesuai
dengan konteks penggunaannya.
2. Siswa mampu menyusun teks lisan dan tertulis
mengenai teks ilmiah faktual dengan
menggunakan struktur teks dan unsur
kebahasaan berupa Simple Past Tense dan Past
Perfect Tense yang tepat sesuai dengan konteks
penggunaannya.

4. Simple past tense digunakan untuk
membicarakan suatu kejadian yang terjadi di
masa lampau dan berakhir pula di masa
lampau dalam waktu yang spesifik. Kalimat
dalam simple past tense ditandai dengan kata
kerja kedua (verb2) yang menunjukkan waktu
lampau.

 The day before yesterday : sehari sebelum
kemarin
 Last night : tadi malam
 Last week : pekan lalu
 Last month : bulan lalu
 A few days ago : beberapa hari lalu
 Two weeks ago : dua minggu lalu
 Just now : tadi/baru saja
 In 2010 : di tahun 2010
 A long time ago : dahulu kala

6. Positive (+) sentence:
Singular + Plural (THEY,WE,I,YOU, SHE,HE,IT)
Subject+ verb 2 + O/Complement
Eg:
◦ She joined english club class at school yesterday.
◦ Last Monday, they got an accident at the office
◦ We bought new laptops last night.
Singular ( SHE,HE,IT,I)
Subject + was+ Complement
◦ Eg: Dion was the smartest students in the class.
Plural (THEY,WE,YOU)
Subject + were+ Complement
◦ Eg: Many kids were afraid of small insects.

7. Negative (-) sentence:
Singular + Plural (THEY,WE,I,YOU, SHE,HE,IT)
Subject+ did not + verb 1 + O/Complement
Eg:
◦ She did not join english club class at school yesterday.
◦ Last Monday, they did not get an accident at the office.
◦ We did not buy new laptops last night.
Singular ( SHE,HE,IT,I)
Subject + was+ not + Complement
◦ Eg: Dion was not the smartest students in the class.
Plural (THEY,WE,YOU)
Subject + were+ not + Complement
◦ Eg: Many kids were not afraid of small insects.

8. Interrogative (?) sentence:
Singular + Plural (THEY,WE,I,YOU, SHE,HE,IT)
Did + subject+ verb 1 + O/Complement?
Eg:

◦ Did last Monday, they get an accident at the office
◦ Did we buy new laptops last night?

Was + Subject + Complement?
