1. In this 21st century, living in a metropolitan, most of us want to limit our families to
two children family. Bringing up two kids with other living expenses is very
challenging, though every family takes this responsibility with lots of love. A woman's
responsibility increases many folds after having her own family. In Today’s era we
call ourselves modern and civilized but issues like family planning methods still
require more open discussion. In late twenties and early thirties women’s ability to
conceive is at highest peak. She is in high risk zone of unplanned conception after
completion of her family. It is her who has to bear all the punishment by eating I-pills
or having to abort at first missed period. Though it may appear nothing much
complicated at first sight but the emotional trauma a woman who aborts has never
been bought into limelight. The first responsibility of safe contraception lies with
women in our modern society. Whether its 21days pill option or insertion of copper-
T, its woman body that has to bear the entire burden. Pills are hormones which
provide almost 99% contraception also play with her emotions, body. It has to be
religiously taken every day. Other popular method of contraception is IUD like
copper -T.It is effective for 5 years or 10 years as per choice. The insertion is painful
procedure. It causes stomach cramps, excess blood loss via heavy periods.

These are well known drawbacks. What is kept under cover is that copper causes
brain fogging, anxiety, PMS and mood swings. It leads to body being slow and

Women are being pushed to use contraception, why not male counterpart use
measures which are equally effective in contraception without any hormonal
emotional avalanche.
Though we talk about many issues like social, emotional or relationship, healthy
counseling regarding contraception needs to be enforced as only female has to bear
brunt of unplanned pregnancies.
