Proposed Strategic Partnership Outline
Positive Peace Academy
The first tier of the Rotary-IEP partnership consists of the Positive Peace
Academy, an online training and resource development platform to
strengthen knowledge and skills for Rotarians and Rotary Peace Fellows.
This will allow both Rotarians and RPFs to enhance their understanding
work in peace and conflict resolution and the other Areas of Focus.
Positive Peace Workshops
Positive Peace workshops, hosted by Rotary clubs and districts around
the world, will bring together diverse groups of community leaders and
peacebuilders to discuss the practical, impactful and measurable
investments that can be made in communities surrounding the pillars of
Positive Peace

Benefits of Partnership
• Reinforce and enhance Rotary’s work in PCPR as well as
applying the theories of peace and conflict resolution to
Rotary’s work in the it’s other Areas of Focus.
• Educate and empower Rotarians to build on their current
expertise in mobilization, leadership and advocacy to
address the underlying causes of conflict in communities.
• Enhance Rotary’s voice, connections and exposure in the
PCPR field through collaboration with IEP.
• Increase public profile and media exposure due to IEP’s
emphasis and engagement with press and news outlets.

• Participate in the Rotary – IEP Academy
• Plan a Positive Peace Workshop
• Spread ideas of Positive Peace at your local club and/or
district
