1. Facial expressions
Facial expressions are one of the most important channel of
non- verbal sources of facial information are shape,
pose(orientation), positions of facial features. The structure
of facial non verbal communication is complex.Facial
expressions are manifold and secretive as they try to
conceal true emotions and merely express acted emotions.
Majority opinion is that these do have similar meanings
world-wide with respect to smiling, crying, or showing
anger, sorrow, or disgust, joy disgust fear and shame .
2. • The majority of our feelings and
intentions are sent through
nonverbal communication using
body language, gestures,
postures, proximity, hepatics,
and facial expressions.
3. Paralanguage is the exception to the definition
of nonverbal communication.. Paralanguage
Involves verbal and nonverbal aspects of
speech that influence meaning, including tone,
intensity, pausing, and silence. a silence
between verbal messages is full of meaning.
