9. Virgin Media Business hired us to promote Britain and Ireland’s
largest and most valuable business competition #VOOM2016 in
two areas: entrant PR and social media.
Across the campaign we achieved:
• 137 pieces of coverage across national, regional, local and
trade media
• 2.2 million circulation
• 1.93 million est. coverage views
All of our VOOM coverage is available to view on Coverage
Book.
LondonMedia
10. The first area was to raise the media profile
of the entrants and their businesses, which
in turn promoted #VOOM2016 and the
Virgin Media Business brand as a whole.
From casting agencies for army veterans to
padded knickers for female cyclists, the
vast range of exciting entrants allowed us
to achieve some fantastic coverage across
national, regional, local and trade titles.
LondonMedia
11. The other half of our brief was to
implement a social media strategy around
#VOOM2016. This involved creating
content to promote the various competition
stages, influencer outreach and community
growth.
During the ‘Pitchathon’ alone:
• #VOOM trended on Twitter number 1 or
2 for several hours
• One of our Video Snaps made it onto
‘London Stories’ on Snapchat and was
viewed 60,000 times
LondonMedia
12. Following our success with VOOM 2016,
we were also hired by Virgin Media
Business to provide content for their
#disruptr campaign.
We’ve covered everything from AI to
augmented reality for ears, gaining insight
from those at the cutting edge of tech. This
positions the Virgin Media Business brand
as a disruptive force to be reckoned with.
