  2. Computer power doubles every 18 months. – Gordon Moore (co-founder of Intel) Moore’s law simply says that computer power doubles every eighteen months. First stated in 1965 by Gordon Moore, one of the founders of the Intel Corporation, this simple law has helped to revolutionize the world economy, generated fabulous new wealth, and irreversibly altered our way of life. When you plot the plunging price of computer chips and their rapid advancements in speed, processing power, and memory, you find a remarkably straight line going back fifty years….One big idea at a time.
  3. Transition in: Every year we see what futurists report in the Harvard Business Reports or the Gartner studies…..when really….. Content: Futurists usually describe the present of a select few…. and the future for the larger majority. Transition out: Big Ideas lead to bigger ideas…

Cloud has expanded various ways business can interact with customers. Because of that… Mobility has increased the range that business services customers. Because of that… Security demands increases as the need for protection as IOT based solutions increase…. ------------------------------------------ Big Idea #1 – Uber Big Idea #2 – Telemedicine (Psych Patch, or other story) Big Idea #3 – Airbnb ----------------------------------------- Transition Out – Leaders know how to make other’s future….their present.
  5. Transition in: So, lets ask: “What would it take to make YOUR future NOW? Transition out: ….and how do you do it without imploding or bankrupting your business?
  6. Content: Focus on what’s critical for your customers. A good idea can be dropped or ignored, but something imperative cannot. Show your customers how you can impact their business imperatives through any of the three big ideas I mentioned earlier (Cloud, Mobility, Security) and they will talk. Transition out…. The Millennial mindset talks in a different way that previous groups.
  7. Social media is an active trend….yet most companies do not train their people on how to engage customers through social media 1. The average midsize or large company (1000 employees or more) has 178 “social media assets” (Twitter handles, employee blogs, etc.)–yet only 25% of companies offer social business training to their employees. (Marketingeasy) 2. Although Facebook is the most important social media lead generation tool for b2c marketers (with 77% saying they had had acquired a customer through Facebook, compared to 60% for a company blog), among B2B companies, LinkedIn was the most effective, with 65% having acquired a customer through the professional network, followed by company blogs (60%), Facebook (43%), and Twitter (40%). (Marketing Charts) 3. The best way to “go viral” is to engage millions of users, each of whom share through small networks. “Online sharing, even at viral scale, takes place through many small groups, not via the single status post or tweet of a few influencers…Content goes viral when it spreads beyond a particular sphere of influence and spreads across the social web via ordinarily people sharing with their friends…the median ratio of Facebook views to shares (is) merely 9-to-1. This means that for every Facebook share, only nine people visited the story. Even the largest stories on Facebook are the product of lots of intimate sharing—not one person sharing and hundreds of thousands of people clicking.” Transition out: Small adjustments can help you use Social Media as an effective channel.
  8. Transition in: Finally…look at the trends and make them your business imperative. Content: Here is one trend that either affects who your hire or who you sell to.
  9. In all likelihood, by 2100 we will control computers via tiny brain sensors and, like magicians, move objects around with the power of our minds. Artificial intelligence will be dispersed throughout the environment, and Internet-enabled contact lenses will allow us to access the world's information base or conjure up any image we desire in the blink of an eye.
