Houzz discovered that people want to buy items for their home from the app, but when the items aren’t just décor, they aren’t confident in their choices (ie: tile, bathtubs, etc.) Using AR on their app, you can actually add the items you’re considering purchasing to the exact space in your house where the item would go. When designed, they thought this was the next best thing to being in the showroom where they could touch and see the products, but now – it’s actually better than that, bc consumers can see the products in their own spaces.
