Summary
Beginning with my experience in restaurants, I started as a food runner and was promoted within
2 weeks to server. My first job lasted 6 months after which I decided to focus my time on my
studies and finish High School. After I received my diploma, I began working at Roma Italian
Bistro. I started as a server and after five months I was promoted to Day Manager. My
responsibilities included taking regular food and beverage inventories, the scheduling and
training of staff, customer service, expediting food and generally managing employees. While I
was working for Roma I was able to gain valuable experience about how a restaurant works from
both the financial and logistics side, as well as dealing with interpersonal business relationships
with staff, and learning I could to take control when needed. When I left Roma Italian Bistro I
went to Olive Garden for a short while until I found something more suitable. I then began at
IFood LLC where I had been given multiple opportunities to thrive in business. I started as a
server and then was promoted to General Manager after new ownership took over. During this
position I had 20 employes under me. I dealt with sales reps from JJ Taylor, Costal Beverage,
Stalico Wines, and others. I also dealt with transferring licenses to new owners such as live
entertainment, liquor licenses, federal tax receipts, ect. I had also dealt in staff evaluations, hiring
and training new staff. I was also given the opportunity to manage the remodel and deal with
contractors and other services needed to do the remodel. During the reopening and remodel of
the new restaurant I was left in charge as the owner when to Italy for 2 months. After we started I
boosted sales by 25% in off-season This was the most the restaurant had made in 2 years. I was
also doing payroll, signing checks, and paying bills. I also guided the business to a more
successful future.

system (Aloha POS system) and rebuilding a menu that was easy to read. I worked with web

3. Bands DJ’s and other entertainment alike. I had boosted sales better then they had been in 2
years at this location in the dead of season by 25% of previous sales. I also handled payroll I
would wright paycheck and use business bank info to pre order checks for the entertainment.
During this job I had 20 employees under me. During this position I boosted our notoriety threw
free advertisement with the Naples Daily News and segments on WINK News. I had to leave this
Position because the restaurant was sold.
