3. Present Continuous Tense
• Actions which are happening now.
• Temporary situations.
• Future Arrangements.

4. Simple Past Tense
• Finished actions in the past.
(+) Subj + verb in the 2nd form
(-) Subj + did + not + verb in the base form
(?) Did + Subj + Verb in the base form

5. Past Continuous Tense
• We use for actions that were in progress at
the past.
(+) Subj + to be past form + verb+ING
(-) Subj + To be past form + NOT + verb+ING
(?) To be past form + Subj + verb+ING

6. Be Going To
• We use for future plans and for predictions
(+) Subj + To Be + Going To + Verb Base Form

• We use for predictions, offers, promisses and
decisions

say when) and past experiences.
