We use comparatives to talk about two things.
Fast –er
His car is Faster than mine.

How is a comparative form built?
Usually we use Than after the adjective.
One syllable adjectives – add er at the end.
Long – Longer
*If the adjective ends with CVC (Consonant+ Vogal+
Consonant) we double the last consonant.
Hot - Hotter
Two syllables adjective ending with y – add ier at the end
Funny - Funnier
Other two or three syllables - add More before the adjective
