1. Simple Present
Usamos para hablar en tiempo presente “I work” yo trabajo
I play “yo juego”
Auxiliares negativos do not (don’t) does not (doesn’t)
Sandra doesn’t play guitar
I don’t eat pizza
We don’t work on mondays
Questions:

Does she eat hot dogs?
Does he drink milk?

3. Present Continuous (ing)
Lo usamos para hablar de acciones que ocurren en el momento
I am working right now
She is sleeping
We are playing videogames
I am not working
He is not eating.
4. Simple Future (Will)
Lo usamos para decir el futuro
inmediato
I will go to the supermarket
We Will finish today
They won’t go to school
She will not play soccer

you go on
vacations?
5. Going to (voy a )
Se usa para hablar en futuro para acciones que “voy a” realizar en un
futuro lejano o cercano.
I am going to play golf with my dad
She is going to travel to Mexico
We are not going to school tomorrow.
6. Simple Past
Lo usamos para hablar en pasado simple. Existen dos tipos de verbos
Regulares les agregamos “ED” para pasarlos o identificarlos en pasado. ejemplos
Work – worked
Play – played
Jump- Jumped
Open - Opened
Irregulares , cambian su forma totalmente, para averiguar su forma deben de estudiarse usando
una lista de verbos irregulares en pasado.
Ejemplos: Begin - Began
Eat – Ate
Send- Sent
7. Simple Past negations
Las negaciones en pasado se usan con el auxiliar DID NOT o Didn’t , luego del auxiliar Didn’t el verbo
se coloca en presente, debido que , el didn’t pasa la oración al pasado automáticamente.
Ejemplos:
I ate pizza yesterday
I did not eat pizza yesterday
I didn’t eat pizza yesterday
I played the piano in the morning
I did not play the piano in the morning
I didn’t play the piano in the morning
8. Simple Past questions
Las preguntas en pasado se usan con el auxiliar DID para identificarlas
Ejemplos:
Did you play soccer?
Did you finish the essay?
Did you go to the interview?
Se pueden agregar Wh questions también
Where did you go last night?
What did you eat yesterday?
When did you finish the homework?
