WORK EXPERIENCE
Oct 2014 – Manchester Metropolitan University
Present Student Enrichment Officer to the Arts and Humanities Faculty
Responsible for:
Design and development of marketing campaigns aimed to promote the
Student Enrichment Offer to the student body. This involves the development
and management of a year-on-year marketing calendar, design of marketing
materials including print brochures, flyers, posters, project books, stationary,
and e-newsletters. Since beginning this role, student engagement has increased
by a factor of ten, with more than 60% of the student population currently
engaging with the enrichment offer.
Content management and design of monthly e-newsletters to staff, students
and external partners. This involves upkeep of the mailing list, and analysis of
each newsletter, evaluating results and click-throughs, and continuously
improving the standard of the campaign.
Introduction of a new strategy to collect student data, in order to monitor and
develop individual skills during their student career, that adheres to the
University’s communication strategy. The aim of the strategy was to collect data
from 20% of the student population in the first year, increasing to 50% in the
second year. Within the first 6-months of the campaign I had effectively
collected data from 40% of the student population, which I was able to increase
to 60% 12 months later.
All aspects of event organisation for several award ceremonies and end-of-year
celebrations, including financial management and marketing. These involve
managing several interlinking campaign calendars aimed at staff and students
across the university.
