Director of Marketing (April, 2015 – September, 2015)
Led all marketing initiatives, internal and external communications, and special events in
support of NAU’s strategic plan.
Managed an annual marketing budget of approximately $10M that covered traditional and
digital media production and buys in more than 15 market areas.
Collaborated with the marketing team and outside vendor to create a new brand identity for
the university. This resulted in the creation of a new website, TV commercials, print
collateral, digital ads, billboards, and more.
Directed all marketing efforts, including television, radio, print, and digital (website, digital
ads, SEO, PPC, and social media). Worked side by side with producer on TV commercials.
Drove all email and direct mail communications to potential students, active and inactive
students, and alumni utilizing a marketing automation tool that distributed scheduled
communications to the appropriate audiences.
