working for two major companies in the oil and gas industry that are committed to excellence.
Electro-MechanicalAssembler. Assemble, test, operate, maintain electromechanical equipment.
CAPABILITIES
* Test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as electronic
voltmeters, computer software programs.
*Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and
sequences of assembly.
*Install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housing or assemblies, using soldering
equipment and hand tools.
*Align, fit, and assemble components parts, using hand and power tools, fixtures, templates.
*Analyze and record test results.
*Repair, rework, assemblies to meet operational specifications and tolerances.
*Trained others to install, use, and maintain equipment.
*Point man on several prototype assemblies. (Assemblies in the engineering phase before
being cleared for production)
*Worked with engineers and technical writers developing work instruction manuals.
*Internal Auditor- Provided evaluations of operational procedures to report to my supervisor.
Checked expiration dates on spray cans, loctites, prints/drawings, calibration tools, solder
stations.
ACTIVITIES
IdentifyingObjects, ActionsandEvents-Identifying information and detecting changes in
circumstances.
*understand engineering data and reports
*understand service and repair manuals
*understand technical operating service manuals
InspectingEquipment , Structures, orMaterial-Inspected equipment to identify the cause of errors
and other problems and defects. Service & Repair equipment.
CommunicatedwithSupervisors,Peers-Provided information to supervisors , co-workers, by
telephone, in written form, email, and in person.
Processes-Using control mechanisms or physical activity for assembly process.
*used precision measuring tools and equipment
*soldered electronic connections and components
*used electronic test devices
UpdatingandUsingRelevantKnowledge-Kept my skills up to date and continued to apply new
technical knowledge to my job.
*used technical information in manufacturing and industrial activities
QualitiesofThings, Services, andPeople- Made it a point to pay attention to the welfare of my co-
workers.
HandledObjects- Used hands, arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
DocumentedInformation-Used written and electronic documents to maintain information. (SAP)
Organizing, Planning,Prioritizing-My first priority each day was to set goals as to what needed to
be accomplished that day. Maintaining a neat, clean, organized work area was important for me
to accomplish my work.
TrainedandDevelopedOthers-Identified and helped develop, and mentor others to improve their
knowledge and skills. Trained and mentored others from other countries as well as domestic
employees. Trained others from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Aberdeen, Colombia, and Saudi Arabia.
EvaluatedInformationto Determine Compliance withStandards
*inspected facility and equipment for regulatory compliance (Fire extinguishers, grinders,
grinding machines, personal protective equipment (PPE)
*examined engineering documents for completeness and accuracy
SAFETY
Began each day committed to safety. Participated in daily 5 minute tool box safety discussions
as well as monthly safety meetings. Watched safety videos, discussed safety practices,
procedures, and violations. Trained in first class safety programs. Weatherford was committed
to educating employees and empower them to intervene when seeing unsafe acts. Increased
awarness regarding safety initiatives and the importance of behavior based safety.
