WORKING EXPERIENCE
Dec 2014- Present Working in Occidental Oman as a Panel Operator for Mechanical Vapour
Compression (MVC)
Responsible for continuous improvement and optimization of current
manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, reduce costs, and increase
efficiency.
Maximizing the optimization and monitoring of the process equipment via
computer (PLC) systems for desired pressure, temperature, levels and tracking
throughput.
Identify, create and track key metrics associated with the process.
Identify the operation and job hazards and making JSA (Job Safety Analyze).
Ensuring the safety of personnel and equipments by directing on-site inspection,
before, during and upon completion of work tasks.
Interfaces with multiple departments regarding status of the plant.
Planned maintenance activities in the turnaround or shutdown.
Review the P&ID and request for update if required..
Identify potential and actual process problem areas and recommend corrective
actions.
Understand company HSE practices, policies, & procedures and participate in

3. Responsible for organize Safe Work Permit System and ensuring a safe working
environment in compliance with all company and governmental rules and
regulations.
Review activities and work with others to identify the hazards to minimize
accident and downtime for the plant. Assists in preparing monthly reports,
collecting & studying Operations data.
Feeds in work orders to MAXIMO and enters production/feed figures into the
assigned computerized.
Nov 2003-Apr 2013 Working in Orpic as a Production Operator for Operation Department as
CDU Panel Operator and NHTU & Penex Panel Operator.
o Implements operating instructions; refers process upsets to the supervisor;
attends to emergency situations and may shut down a unit on own initiative, as
necessary. Maintains log books, and records operating problems & remedial
actions taken. Updates himself with the latest standing instructions/procedures
and modifications
o . Participates in safe start up and shut down of Refinery facilities / systems
mainly CDU & NHTU units.
o Ensures that unit samples are sent to the Laboratory as per schedule and
arranges for extra samples. Follows up receipts of results and updates Lab
book/sheets. Analyses test results and make unit operations adjustment, after
consulting supervisor.
o Operates & monitors performance of a variety of systems as assigned,
monitoring equipment, common utilities, waste water treatment.
o Liaises with upstream/downstream units, other Operations units, Laboratory &
Maintenance for coordinating units' operation.
o Participates in training of other operators trainees as an instructor. Prepares
training Materials, including handouts and presentation slides. Evaluates the
performance of participants of training as per the prescribed procedure. Monitors
and keeps record of the attendance during training programs.
o Practices good housekeeping, and complies with fire & safety regulations.
