EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS
E&I Training and Development
Facilitated EEHA training to oil and gas package vendors in Australia, the USA, South Korea and Singapore.
Preparation of entire training packages in alignment with Government requirements.
E&I / EEHA Inspection
Ensured Integrity of EEHA and E&I Equipment on existing facilities through inspection of critical mechanical and
electrical equipment for compliance with company specifications and regulatory standards.
Applied E&I experience in inspection and surveillance activities during procurement, construction installation and
commissioning stages of switch rooms and associated equipment, major electrical and mechanical equipment, power
systems, hazardous area equipment, instrumentation and control systems.
Complied with company project specification requirements during Vendor source inspection work at various
international locations. This was mainly in relation to ensuring Certification Compliance of EEHA package equipment.
Promoted safety awareness and safe performance example at various international sites, fabrication yards,
subcontractors and vendor shops.
Prepared and submitted EEHA ITR summarisation document in accordance with AS/NZS 60079.17; which contained
comprehensive information on all EEHA checks during vendor inspection and yard construction. This document was
utilised by all Chevron Inspection personnel as a go-by to ensure a harmonised compliant approach to all EEHA
inspection activities on all package equipment.
Reviewed EEHA ITR’s, Ex Register, HAC drawings, GA’s for completion of EEHA ITR gap analysis and developed
corresponding spreadsheet for tracking progress of package compliance / completion.
INLEC Hook-up & Commissioning
Conducted Engineering Risk Assessment, Designed, Procured, Installed and Commissioned BHPBP GV FPSO Workshop
Lathe Safety System in compliance with BHPBP’s FRCP (Fatal Risk Control Protocol) to ensure personnel safety (Safe
Guarding) and mitigate injury whilst operating rotating machinery.
Installed and commissioned BHPBP GV FPSO EDG, Black start Generator and Emergency Fire Water Pumps Battery
Charger system to ensure reliability of the safety critical systems.
Installed and Commissioned Passive UHF Antenna on BHPBP GV FPSO. This ensured extended two way radio
reception so no breakdown of communications was experienced. This was paramount during Muster communications.
Conducted Engineering Risk Assessment, Designed, Procured, Installed and Commissioned BHPBP GV FPSO IRM
(Insulation Resistance Monitors). This ensured the Isolated Power Distribution System on board the FPSO Facility was
continuously monitored and free from Earth Faults. This safe guarded all personnel from potential Electric Shock.

Designed DBNGP Compressor Station 24VDC Batteries and Battery Charger System Upgrade. Once design was
finalised and equipment was procured; I was responsible as the Project Manager to organise logistics to ensure safe
Site delivery. Once onsite I reported as the Site Construction Manager and was responsible for the safe Installation and
commissioning (including cut-over from the old to the new 24VDC UPS System) of the UPS System with minimal down
time and maximum effectiveness. Promoted safety awareness and safe performance example by ensuring all
personnel complied with DBNGP’s strict Travel Policy (Zero speed policy, 2hr call in via SAT phone, Eye lid permanent
monitoring etc.).
