3. Introduction
 Today's conventional modes of transportation of people
consists of four unique types: rail, road, water, and air. These
modes of transport tend to be either relatively slow (e.g.,
road and water), expensive (e.g.,air), or a combination of
relatively slow and expensive(i.e., rail).
 Hyperloop is a new mode of transport that seeks to change
this pattern by being both fast and inexpensive for people
and goods.

4. What is Hyperloop?
Hyperloop consists of a low pressure tube with capsules
that are transported at both low and high speeds throughout
the length of the tube.

1) LOW PRESSORE TUBE
 The tube is made of steel.
 The pressure in the tube is 100pa
 Pylons(pillar) are placed every 30 m to support the tube

 Sealed capsules carrying 28 passengers.
 The capsules are supported via thrust air bearing that
operate using a compressed air reservoir and
aerodynamic lift.

 Air is compressed with a pressure ratio of 20:1.
 Some air is stored for passenger and air bearing.
 An onboard water tank is used for cooling of the air.

11. SUSPENSION
 Thrust air bearings offer stability and extremely low drag
 Independent mechanical suspension are provide for
smooth ride for passengers.

12. PROPULSION
 Linear accelerators are constructed along the length of the
tube at various locations to accelerate the capsules.
 Capsules are accelerated by linear magnetic induction and
decelerated by regenerative braking.
 The hyperloop as a whole is projected to consume an average
of 28,000 hp (21 MW).

Linear Induction motor abbreviated as LIM, is basically a
special purpose motor that is in use to achieve linear
motion rather than rotational motion as in the case of
conventional motors.

16.  Primary of the LIM housing the field system, and
consequently the rotor forms the secondary consisting of flat
aluminum conductors with ferromagnetic core for effective
flux linkage.

 When the primary of an LIM is excited by a balanced three
phase power supply, , a traveling flux is induced in the
primary instead of rotating 3 φ flux. which will travel along
the length of the primary.
 Electric current is induced into the aluminum conductors or
the secondary due to the relative motion between the
traveling flux and the conductors. This induced current
interacts with the traveling flux wave to produce linear force
or thrust F.e length of the primary.

18. HISTORY
 The concept of hyperloop was first popularized by Elon
musk.
 The tubular tizzy started in 2012, when Tesla and SpaceX
CEO Elon Musk suggested. The Hyperloop as a new form of
transportation.
 August 2013 he produced a 57-page white paper that outlined
his technical thinking for how this system would work.
 Hyperloop One wants a commercial line in service in 2020.

19. INDIA’S FIRST HYPER LOOP
 Hyper loop Transportation Technology signs an Historic
Agreement with the Government of the Indian State of
Andhra Pradesh to connect the city centers of Amaravati
and Vijayawada.
 Distance between Vijayawada to Amaravati is 35km.
 Hyper loop will cover in 5 minutes.
 Month of October survey and after 6 months in
construction will start.

 Lower cost.($11.2 billion for hyperloop & $47 billion for
bullet train from LA to SF)
 Pollution free.
 Immune to weather.
 Safer
 Sustainably self-powering.
 Resistant to Earthquakes.

 Tube pressurization.
 Turning will be critical (with large radius).
 Insufficient movable space for passenger.

22. CONCLUSION
 As it has number of advantages it will very help full for
transport public as well as goods in a very short period
of time (at a top speed of 1220 kmph) and also in lower
cost.
 It is a new concept so there is some future work will be
required for development of this project.
