Hyperloop, The New Transport System
Presented by: Under the guidance of :

8th Semester
3. Introduction:
Currently available modes of transportation are:
Rail
Road
Water
Air
What is a Hyperloop?
Hyperloop is a proposed mode of passenger and cargo transportation
that propels a capsule-like vehicle through a near-vacuum tube at
more than airline speed.
4. Construction:
Components involved in the
construction of the hyperloop
are:
1. Capsule/Pod
• A coach pressurized at
atmospheric pressure.
• Free of air resistance or friction
inside the tube.
Fig: Components inside Capsule
5. • The capsule can carry 28
passengers at a time .
• It send at a very high speed.
• There are two version of
capsule.
6. 2. Tube
• Made of steel.
• This structure is supported by
pillars.
• Solar arrays are provided on the
top of the tubes.
Fig: Sections of tubes
7. 3. Suspension
• Air bearing suspension offers stability.
• Air bearing suspension offers extremely low drag at a feasible
cost.
• A stiff air bearing suspension is superb for reliability and safety.
12. Advantages:
Pollution free.
Saves the travelling time,
energy and even cost.
There is no problem of traffic.
Powered by the solar panel.
No effect of weather condition.
Eco friendly
Disadvantages:
Turning will be critical.
High speed might cause
dizziness in some passenger.
High initial installation cost.
Complex design.
13. Conclusions:
The Hyperloop would be the first truly revolutionary new
transportation system that could radically reduce the time and
cost for travel and transport between nearby cities.
Additional technological developments in Hyperloop and
further optimization could likely reduce the price even further.
As the global population is increasing and the environmental values
are declining, a better mass transport system like Hyperloop is
definitely essential in this world.
